Well the NBA isn't picking current students up mid-season. So it's a pointless argument. If golf had a draft with guaranteed money for elite players, like Spieth, he would've been drafted and signed to a contract to coincide with the seasons. However, that's not how golf works. You leave when the sponsors jump on board and you have some entries in to tourneys you can win to secure your card.

Awful take. I'm assuming the coach and his team knew about his departure and this just didn't happen overnight.

Not a good take Glenn. Those players each made $10,000 each for missing the cut. Keep chugging along fella.
Actually, Tiger did receive $$$$$$$$$

Interesting. According to Masters site, everyone that missed cut+past champs who opted not to play still received $10K each in prize money.

Normally those guys don't get paid if they miss the cut. I could see where he would think that, especially after seeing the chart he cited. Glenn is going to help me win a Derby trifecta. Good take Glenn.

I agree. Ymmot sucking up to some yokel backwoods reporter in a rather pathetic attempt to gain stature on an obscure general topics sports message board is a new low. Let us all celebrate and revel in what a failure his life is so that all our own are somehow much, much better simply by comparison to his own failed grovelling attempts at sucking up and currying favor.

Ymmot reminds me of Sally Field at the Oscars with his "YOU LIKE ME, YOU REALLY, REALLY LIKE ME!" desperate cry for help in this thread. What a shell of a man. I hope his little reporter friend can add some ray of hope to his otherwise desperate existence.
