I’m gonna go with JT also. He is due for another major. Been finishing higher at The Masters the last couple of years.

For sure, it won't be Tiger. He's been pretty much hot garbage this year. When he's playing well AND very healthy, he can still play places like Augusta. I just don't know if he's capable of both for 4 straight days anymore. With the long hitters eating Augusta's par 5s, Tiger can't be 1-under on the par 5s for the week.

I hope/wish they'd change the ball for Augusta so that it's not a pitch-and-putt course. I'm not sure they can lengthen it anymore and watching guys hit 3-wood and 8-iron on a 560+ par 5 just isn't that interesting to me. When you can just fly over all the trouble, Augusta's appeal becomes limited.

Tiger hasn’t really been into it at any point. He needs fans.

Ah, the smell of Azaleas, Magnolia and Dogwood trees in bloom. The deep green of the fairways and the world awash in gentle pastel colors. I don't care for golf at all, but this is the one event I watch for the atmosphere.

Even without JT and Rory, this 2019 top 10 was crazy.

If you're in any pools based on world rankings, Day, Watson and Fowler good o throw in outside top 25. But, will Day have some mysterious ailment? Are Fowler and Watson in form?

Day is a weird guy. I think the lack of crowd will help him. Good point on the injury though. He reminds me of Fred Couples. Should have multiple majors and 30 plus wins but the injuries have killed him.

Augusta is mostly a short game + putting contest in April. November??

I'm going with Xander Schauffele or Justin Thomas.

Most good golfers I know are pricks. Maybe it’s because it’s an individual vs team sport. Self absorbed, so hard to root for any of them. However, I’d trade my life for Tiger’s

Unfortunately nothing will be in bloom this year but love your imagery. I was fortunate to be able to attend 3 Masters in the early 90's. TV doesn't do it justice so you can imagine how nice it is in person. If you ever get a chance to go, take it. Just to walk the grounds and have a pimento cheese sandwich, even if you aren't into golf, is a special thing.

I'd like to see Finau win it.

I just like that guy for some reason.

Yeah, he seems like a genuinely nice guy. Did you see him dislocate his ankle two years ago at the par-3 contest? It was cringeworthy and the dude just pops it back in and continues on. Grande cojones.

Yeah, he is rusty as heck when he tees it up right now. Some good shots are mixed in, but the poor short game and bad putting are sure signs of lack of competitive reps. He knows Augusta but he is not winning this year. I think making the cut would be a good finish from what I have seen since the restart. He hasn't had his good stuff since The Presidents Cup.

Really like Finau but unfortunately do not think when the pressure is on he has all of the mental gears needed to win a major.
