DJ when asked which Major was hardest to win, the first or the second:

“The first major's the hardest,” he said, “but then I would say the second one is just as hard.”

I love DJ. Glad he won this thing. Yesterday on 2 he hit a 7 wood from 270 that hit the green like a 9 iron with a hop and stop 1 foot from the pin. I'm not sure anyone else on Earth can hit a ball like that.

Dustin Johnson won $2.07 million dollars yesterday by finishing first at The Masters. It's hard to believe the exponential growth in golf tournament prize money since the late 1970s. I understand inflation, but this is WAY more than that.

Think about this for a second. By winning ONE Masters title yesterday, in ONE year, he won more money than the COMBINED lifetime winnings at the Masters of Nicklaus, Palmer, and Player, who together have 13 titles and 147 years of Masters competition.

Jack Nicklaus' biggest paycheck at the Masters was actually his great 6th place finish in 1998 when he was 58 years old.

Thank you Tiger for that ^^^

Yup. Guys routinely win checks in one tournament now that were annual winnings of the money leader before Tiger came around. He created generational wealth for hundreds of golfers and their families.
