Hasn't been an ace at the 12th since 1988. Only three on that hole in Augusta history.
That's a surprising stat for only a 155 yd hole. Recently, number #16 has had hole-in-ones almost yearly.

I’d take the 90 all day. Although I will say I got the chance to play pebble in 2017 and eagled number 2 which put me -1 for the round. Think I still shot close to 100 for the day but what a glorious round it was……A little off subject but which of these would you rather do if you ever got the chance to play Augusta?
1. Get 18 straight bogeys and shoot a 90.
2. Get 2 birdies, 3 pars and some big numbers and shoot a 102.
Back to the subject. I picked Scheffler and I'm not sure why you would take anyone else right now. There is being a hot golfer and there is what he is doing right now.

Just left Augusta. Awesome experience. It was cold today and wind gusting all directions. That was a hard golf course in those conditions. Man that is a great event. Impressive…every aspect.
Very true. Practice rounds are the best way to get the Masters experience and see the course. You are free to bring a camera, and players are relaxed and usually friendly.Always enjoy going to Augusta. That said, it’s one of those deals where it’s better on practice round days to get your “Augusta feel” in and much better to watch the actual tournament on TV. Can say the same about any golf tournament.
If you really get into the actual tournament it’s just better on tv to keep up with the action all over the course.
Back in the day I lived in Atlanta. Via a business deal with Augusta National and knowing someone who was a member...was blessed to be there on 3 or 4 occasions. Not when the tournament was going on. Walked the course with just 2 guys. No others around. Unbelievable the calm, peaceful feeling.Always enjoy going to Augusta. Momentum. Of Smith died after that chip in.Nice time for Scheffler to hit the shot of his life. That very well could give him the Green Jacket.
It's going to take that kind of a melt down to make this interesting. He could 7 iron his way in now.Jean Van De Velde. Wouldn't trust him with this lead. Scheffler should be OK though.
Didn't remember the name....but will never forget that 18th hole.Jean Van De Velde. Wouldn't trust him with this lead. Scheffler should be OK though.
