I was surprised to hear he's even playing.
I thought things were so screwed up with him that we wouldn't see him again until shortly before the next major (after the Masters) at the earliest.
Love him or hate him at least Tiger was interesting. We're reduced to the most interesting story being about some guy that very likely won't ever even be in the running. Phil is now old, Tiger now stinks, and the new great player is Rory and he's boring And golf doesn't seem to market its non-star player, which is almost all of them. I'll watch some of the Masters and I'll likely see more news about Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus than I will about most or all of the guys on the leaderboard combined.
