That's very old and if you rack the data back to the source its not very accurate at all. They sometimes include players where charges were dropped but in other cases remove the players where charges were dropped.

I just got a $25 ticket for an expired parking meter by 3 minutes. If I had the strength, I would have pulled it just like Taco Meat did.
Not all arrests are created equal

UL fans love to post this every now and again. It is the one thing that sustains their delusion.

The Louisville and Knoxville police departments probably have a total of about four arrests of football players in the last ten years-------and those four officers were probably all fired the next day.

The Knoxville off duty policeman that DIDN'T press charges after being assaulted by the eight football thugs should have been fired for dereliction of duty, I wonder what kind of perks and compensation he got instead?

It took Stoops just three years to get UK into a top 20 [roll]! Hey, this was a good sign back in the day when Snyder took over at Kansas State. As the arrests went up, so did K-State's win total!

Gotta have a few thugs on your team. Everyone has them. You gotta hope they're worth it. [winking]

Interesting but I would also like to see stats on number of misdemeanor and felony convictions. This report treats a DUI charge the same as a rape conviction.

And if you kick the kid off the team before charges are filed it doesn't count. Ul has 4 or 5 of those. Cheerleader dying in a players room of overdose doesn't show up. 2 players beating a kid blind doesn't show up... but 4 guys playing with bb guns shows up as 4 arrest.

How about data showing % of current rosters with aren't records? Or number of players on the roster with arrest records?

If I am judging a program, I deal more in how the programs deal with arrests vs how many are fostering a criminal environment

Those differences make all these numbers a sham, and I think Georgia and UK in the SEC, (maybe Vandy, not sure lately) are the best ones at holding their players accountable------which makes them look among the worst-------TU and Transfer U among the worst anywhere .

Here are the two newest prospects for the Transfer U program, although TU might be in the running.

BB guns again, when are they going to grow up and get a Uzi like the UL players do, although I understand that arrest set the UL program back several years, probably top five at least by now if not for that, I understand several big time transfers declined their UL offers when jurich couldn't cover that up. I believe they were too hard on him though, I believe that happened outside his jurisdiction or it wouldn't have been a problem.

When will they ever learn, when will they eeeveer learn.
