I wish we would have hired Craig Kuligowski the old D-Line coach from Missouri and current Miami D-Line coach. Richt was smart in making that move when getting canned from Georgia. He always had good lines regardless of star ratings. He really knows how to coach them up and develope the talent he is given.

If we can manage to make a bowl game and the defense improves as the season progresses. DJ will be back. If DJ is shown the door like many hope including myself (barring some miraculous change in his coaching, developmental, game adjustment and game planning talents). Who would you like to see brought in to try to save the defense.
My replacements.
1.) Tyrone Nix (still young has experience and success at USM, USC, Ole Miss)
2.) Nick Aliotti (Now retired, Former Oregon DC)
3.) Bo Pelini

He could be the fall guy that gets sacrificed so they can try to convince us they're serious about football while bringing Mark Stoops back for a fifth season.

Our overall defensive ranking has increased every year. Mark stoops is a defensive coach. All the blame isn't squarely on Eliot.
We had some unfortunate luck regarding our DL this offseason and that has hurt us.

I'm still on the stoops train and I think Eliot has made some mistakes but I think he's a good coach and recruiter. I'm fine waiting till the end of the season to make a decision on Eliot.
