Absolutely! I was worried this was another Disappearing Jaxson game in the 1st half, but he really stepped it up in the 2nd half and OT. His huge floater to put us up 4 at the end of OT won the game.

Really proud and happy for the kid!

He really stepped it up. After being awful against Duke and Clemson. Hopefully this is the start of a tear. We need him.

Yep, but man, Carr, Oweh, even Garrison had good games.

No doubt about Jax... Carr, Oweh and Garrison definitely played well, but the role that Robinson filled was EXPONENTIALLY huge for this team tonight.

Not just on offense, either. I commented on the game thread that it allowed Oweh to switch onto Nembhard w/Brea and Robinson guarding the Zag wings. So, it got more athleticism to disrupt Nembhard and kept more length on the court.

I'll give huge props to Garrison too, which I thought we would be saying his name more and more as the year goes on. And we are.

What a win, guts and pride, heart and the will to win. the heart of a champion was proven tonight. With all the pieces, even when all the pieces aren't necessarily there....

These young men could be champions.

We don’t stay in that game without Carr’s (tough) points inside. To me, Robinson and Carr should share player of the game honors.

That was the key in turning the second half!
Oweh took Nembhard out of his game.
This was something I didn't understand in the first half, why we didn't switch someone else on him? But maybe it's best to adjust at halftime and then they have to try and adjust on the fly in the second half.
Great win. Hope this gets them trusting each other more, and develops better chemistry between these guys.

Robinson had a great game. He and Andrew Carr were the second half story.

Yet one of the resident blowhard Cal dick riders who never missed a moment to shove it in your face says 'Robinson isn't the player everyone said he would be.' GTFO

I wish folks would quit saying Jax was awful against Duke. That’s simply not reality. His defense was huge in the second half. I mean huge.

Every game I look at the box score and it seems like Garrison just puts up a solid game every time. His development is going to be very big going forward.

He was big time tonight! So proud of him for stepping up. I was very frustrated with him in the first half, but he really responded in that 2nd half. So happy for him!

The good thing about this team is any player can be the rock on a given night. Pope finds out who it is and adjusts. Cal rinsed and repeated.

Rewatching and it’s a beautiful group effort. Jax def MVP. Carr came out perfect in the second half. Garrison shut down the interior. One hell of a run and amazing team ball.

I know I’m guilty for the first half ( Soft ) remark and in the moment, it looked true. He stepped up though and so did Amari! Never dogged coach or his strategy though and never will. Will say, would love to see them both play with that intensity the whole game..

Let’s be real for a min. How did brea miss that shot at the end of regulation? I was already celebrating haha
I was sweating bullets worried that we had missed our chance, two great chances,, Oweh tried to line drive a lob (instead of lobbing) to Williams for easy bucket and then the ball comes to Brea for an easy 10 footer.
