All pro playoff event scripts are becoming the same.... get each series to seven games and make ooodles of money from ad sales, jersey sales and media hype. Even the MLB is guilty of this in the playoff races and the WS.

The NBA tried really hard to keep the Lakers in the playoffs. Jokic had zero foul shots despite being mugged all game. LA had 27 FT to 9 for Denver in a road game for LA, despite playing highly physical defense. LA’s plus-minus for FT is three TIMES that of the second highest team in the league over the past two years.
My thoughts exactly! Of course, I stopped following basketball of any kind a while ago.
Series goes 7 games = proof the NBA is rigged
Last year, MLB had 11 games where if one team won, the series would be over, and if the other one, it would be extended. By my count, the team that could have extended the series went 2-9 in those 11 games.
NBA in 2023...21 games where one team could have extended and the other could have clinched, and the team that could extend went 10-11. 4 of those games so far this year, and the team that could extend have gone 1-3.
Not normal people. Outside of Kings/Lakers in 2002, there’s never been any real reason to believe that anything has been rigged.
