I have a bit of an obsession with finding new music to get into. The old music thread is/was fine, but a lot of the time it was a little too much FM radio for my tastes.

This thread will feature either new and/or obscure music that you're into. Hopefully a space where we can share new or unique artists we're vibing and maybe you'll find something you dig along the way.

This first one is a track that came out a few days ago. Very unique vocal style that is sort of an indie pop vibe with some sax thrown in. Sort of gives me a Talking Heads feel with the manic vocal style.

This next one is an instant psychedelic head-bobber with some sweet guitar licks:

Some African jazz for your Sunday:

A shimmery, instrumental live performance that sounds like a pleasant wake up:

What an album cover lol:

I'll close with this truly awesome *mostly* instrumental live performance. The way this song builds is so freaking good:

This album will be an all timer. I’ve always been a Push stan but Clipse is just something else..

Kendrick’s GEN bars are out of this world. Already a ton of good youtube breakdowns of it for the nerds.

last verse goes off on Travis Scott

I'm really blown away by how freaking good it is. Really love the beat and production on this track:

Gotta admit, I've never really dove in before but I'm feeling the R&B and Mk.gee vibes on the new Bieber.

I could see Bieber having a second career. I think that dude was mistreated when he was a kid. There was some stuff going on behind the scenes, and all we saw was the bratty kid.

He’s got some serious talent.

Perfect Confusion

Self-titled album from the band with same name. It’s not new (2005)…but it’s new to me. It’s Cage The Elephant 3 years before they replaced two band members & then changed their name. It is surprisingly very well produced & a perfectly decent alt rock album.
