Both HS & Tucker new buildings look incredible. Any other new HS buildings on the horizon in Henrico? (Thinking specifically about Varina…)

Since Henrico was completely remodeled, the only other schools in Henrico County with age are Varina and Freeman. Freeman was built around the same time the old HSHS was built. Same type building.

Yeah Freeman seems more logistically challenging so I figured Varina might be more likely to get replaced sooner. More land available to build new while keeping the old building open. But yeah, Freeman could use replacing.

I feel like it wasn't so long ago that Varina got a face-lift for when it was announced Highland Springs would get new school some Varina folks were not happy that they didn't get that same option.

I imagine Freeman would be replaced next but I imagine it won't be till things have fully returned to normal from the pandemic and with planning and all it would likely be 5 or so years from that.
