You don't acknowledge systemic racism, but now you're going to say what it "suggests" to you? Weird.

If Jim Crow was so bad, why didn't Black people just leave?

You have to misrepresent liberals as saying something more extreme in order to have an easier opponent you can handle.
Why didn’t they just leave? Because the rest of the world was even more racist. I know you libs like to pretend that the US is unique in their horrible treatment of people of color but it’s pretty much universal. However legal barriers to success have been removed and whether someone sinks or swims is largely dependent on personal behavior at this point. Don’t smoke pot every day. Quit listening to music that makes you hate other people. Quit blaming people you’ve never met for horrible decisions that you make. Capiche?

Oh youre plenty easy enough to handle without any of that you described Another Jim Crow reference. Cool. You sure you don’t mean Jim Eagle ? I heard he was the best

Race is like a drug to some people. Normal, good people don't even think about race. The racists and the woke are two sides of the same coin.
Uhh... if you don't think about race, you're blind to a demographic that has a pretty profound effect on people's lives. "Normal, good" people care about things that affect others, if not themselves.

Why does it have an effect on people's lives? Because of people who characterize other people based on their race. i.e. racists and woke people. I don't know why you think that you can not pay attention to race at the same time as caring about things that affect others. I care that people are treated differently because of their race.

If you hold the door open for someone strictly to pander because of their race, you did a good thing. For the wrong reason, but still a good thing. If you refuse to hold the door open for someone because of their race, you did a bad thing. But what's the difference? You made a choice to do good or bad based on race. Two sides. One coin.

You’re either a troll or delusional if you think Biden has done a good job so far.
There’s no other option.

Lol. Let's start from the beginning of this article, since that's as far as I got. Haha.

What has Biden done to get us through the pandemic any better than we would have? How has he improved the economy? Just to start.
You're now judging him against what you're attributing to an imaginary second-term President Trump?

How the **** did you come to that? I specifically asked how HE, as in Biden, has gotten us through the pandemic any different than we would have. It could be an imaginary firts term for any other president. What has BIDEN done?

You deny the existence of systemic racism, then ask why race has an effect on people's lives. 🤦‍♂️
If a house is on fire, the person identifying it as being on fire is not therefore an arsonist. Like a housefire, racism doesn't go away without addressing it.

I know your example of holding a door is an analogy, but it illustrates the way you and so many other conservatives miss the point when it comes to racism: it's bigger than how we individually treat other individuals.

I ask honest questions, you claim they are rhetorical. I ask a rhetorical question, you claim it was an honest question. You keep characterizing people based on their race, I'll keep going about not focusing on race.

My example wasn't necessarily about how we treat people individually. It was about how some people treat people differently based on race. Whether it is the woke going out of their way to show how not racist they are. Or the racists displaying their ignorance. You're still treating people differently because of their race. Two sides. One coin.

i would hope that if trump was still in office that when time for the vaccine rollout that it would have been done as we have seen it up until this point, but to me it would have been difficult pushing a vaccine rollout that when it seems you are on the side of denying the need....all that early craziness....rollout has been effective for those tht wish to be vaccinated in opinion...get others on board is requiring more work, but hopefully over more time it shows its effectiveness and that its safe....so up until now, Biden hasn't derailed the rollout

President Biden doesn't get any credit if you think it's what anyone else would've done?
I posted an article. You admitted to not reading it and proceeded to ask me questions that are answered in the article.

Any libs thoughts on how Biden is doing?
afghan pullout was bad...not sure it was expected that the afghan military and government would fold so quickly...seems the right steps are being put in place to try and correct things

Any of these topics like voter suppression, and racism, are talked by the likes of @Dattier, @durhamgolfer, and sometimes @BOOGIEMAN1914 instead of talking about real issues. You know, like the job Biden is doing as President.

Well, the guy at the podium. We all know he’s not calling the shots.
not real issues?........if biden is so inept to you, i think you would be glad he aint calling the shots....right?

That article gave Biden credit for his handling of the pandemic. What has he done to deserve that credit? Also, the article compares his handling to Trump’s. So how crazy am I for asking what he has done differently than what would have been done by Trump or any other hypothetical president.

You clowns can't objectively defend this administration. It always goes back to Trump.

They were briefed on this scenario months ago yet didn't plan accordingly...Americans are being rescued by our allies while our troops are told to stay in the airport...we have gifted $80B in military hardware to a group of known terrorists that want to do us harm...and Biden refused to extend the deadline despite our allies asking him to do so...many will be left behind by this inept administration and I hope that people see that. If ever there was an impeachable moment...this is it....not a phone call, not a theory of conspiracy but the actions taken by our "commander in chief". The vacuum of leadership top to bottom in this administration is frightening and weakens our country domestically and internationally.

i dont know all the particulars...you could be absolutely right with all you posted or it could be skewed and slanted....i do beleive the said 80 billion in said hardware was from the us and nato allies that was for the militarys use and yeah they left stuff behind when they cut and ran immediately...its a no win in this situation of sorts...we stay and spend more money and risk soldiers that is talked about...we leave and the gov/military folds and the taliban takes control..damned if you do damned if you dont kinda...when you say briefed on this scenario, you mean on the gov/miltary folding?

i would think he has a team of competent advisors an listens to them....i dont think he is inept (4 years removed from a 8 year VP stint where i dont recall any of that questioning about him), but if that was really a question by his decisions and such, i would think that would really be looked into

The choice is not that binary...leave or stay...there are other options to maintain a presence without jeopardizing our own, our allies and our Afgan friends. Ceding the entire country to the Taliban should never have been the outcome - and yes there was forwarning and indicators to suggest that the Taliban were ready to take over and it would fall quickly...they had been moving for months across the country taking cities as they went...this was not a surprise...the warnings were not heeded.

I want what you’re drinking. No, sorry, I don’t. Honestly Boogey, you seem like a nice guy, and on the Duke basketball team, you come across like you have some knowledge. But, you are really clueless in politics.

Biden is done. Has been for a while. They are limping him along almost as good as the 2 bozos did to Bernie in the movie “Weekend at Bernie’s.”

Over/under?
This isn’t a betting line. To explain myself, done doesn’t mean what you’re trying to suggest. By done, I mean his mind has been going downhill for a while. And faster.
Just an honest observation that anyone with half a brain sees too.

may well have been competent five years ago but he clearly has trouble getting a complete sentence out now.All you have to do is to compare him speaking today’s as opposed to then.

You really need to read this line of yours again. The man is now 78. It's not like he's now 65. He's never been the sharpest knife in the drawer. But come on man, watch him speak. Watch him walk. We all lose some as we get older, but Ol Joe has lost a lot. He's not far from being a walking vegetable.

But to say he isn't inept, then try to give a reason like you did, I mean wow, are you trolling as well, or just this dense?

Biden is diminished, there is no doubt...and I could live with that if he wasn't surrounded by other incompetence...chosen for attributes other than their talent to lead or manage specific areas. The border guy, the economic folks, the State and defense department heads, the health and human services dept leaders....all very woke and all out of their depth....their results speak for themselves

Hard to argue with the latter. You can’t screw the country up like they are with it not being intentional.

Intentional? i would hope not...but it is the result of trying to put a bunch of academic theories into practice and expecting them to return the theoretical results born from whitepapers and thesis. What is missed is the unintended consequences and failure to predict the human reactions to these academic policies..believing that behavior wont change when you say or implement certain laws is naive. History could predict some of the outcomes if only it was taken seriously and not dismissed by the hubris of those currently in charge
