We all watch and go off of our preferred sites or channels. When I watch a clip of that quack Van Jones on tv acting emotional and saying something like he feels proud to be a dad, or some stupid crap like that when Biden looked to be the winner, or that fruit Don Lemon crying while talking to roid rage Cuomo, I feel like vomiting.
I find someone like Bill O'Reilly very news worthy. Liberals thought he was too hard on Obama, conservatives thought he wasn't hard enough. I also love to watch Dennis Miller, find his views funny but on point. I am not a big fan of Brit Hume, but I think he is fair.
I'm sorry, but I laughed at you mentioning the word patriotic.
Van Jones didn't say anything about being proud to be a dad in the segment I assume you're referring to. He talked about the election of Joe Biden and the defeating of Donald Trump making it a little bit easier for certain people to be a dad in America.
You can't relate, so it doesn't mean anything to you, but he was talking about the difficulty of having a Black child, or pretty much any child in a marginalized demographic, and having to explain the racist rhetoric of the President of the United States.
Why would you refer to Don Lemon as a fruit? Why would you refer to Coumo as "roid rage?"
In an earlier response to me, you asked why you would want to read about what liberals (I'm going to guess this applies to anyone you think different than) think. Because if you learn why someone thinks the way they do you can understand what it is that they think. That can help to make you a better person and help to build bridges between people of different ideologies. Hell, it can help to make you not sound like an idiot when you're having a discussion.
Remember when you assumed why I disliked Larry Elder and then I gave an actual reason based around one of his core beliefs? Yeah, I was able to do that because I found his stances interesting and I wanted to learn about him and why he formed his opinions. I've most likely read more books by him than you have and he's somebody you cited as a good Black.
Reading others views has given me an appreciation I wouldn't otherwise have. Bob Woodward helped me come to respect James Mattis and Dan Coats. He actually helped me to at least understand how a good Christian like Mike Pence could align himself with Donald Trump.
You can learn a lot by opening your mind.
