Hart, I wish you would stick to our football team, about which you have a wealth of knowledge.
Will never stop talking Duke Football! Your words are very kind. As far as my political comments, I just try to look thru as positive a lens as possible, for both of our parties.Pence did a good job with Operation Warp Speed, and getting vaccines out has been good for republicans and democrats.

I literally could not view the site you linked, as thr owner of the site has blocked access. I googled that story and found nothing else about it.

Here is what you missed:

@Mac9192 posted a link to a far-right edge of sanity blog site that contained an "article," lifted from a slightly more well-known blog. The original article was about what a right-wing commentator posted on Twitter about a tweet that had a video in it. The video, actually posted to Twitter by someone who was at the site of the occurrence and seemingly a supporter, shows a handful of people walking down the street chanting in a call-and-response, almost sing-songy manner, "Black children matter / Black Lives matter."

Several people responded to the original tweet who were there and none mentioned anything about anyone being terrorized, harrassed or intimidated. According to one person in the tweet thread, the BLM folks actually did make a donation.

Based on the video, this act of terrorism falls somewhere between the dude ringing the Salvation Army bell out front of a store and the campus preacher announcing that your upcoming spring break is a ticket to hell.

I'm sure Mac read the headline and maybe the opening paragraph of what he initially posted. If he actually clicked the link within the link he posted he would see this was just an example of right-wing commentators trying to rile up the rubes.

On the other side, I actually clicked the second link he posted about the incident and read the article. Under the article, there were links for other current stories, one of which was about the terrible killing of a police officer in a shootout. The suspect, a white male, was apprehended.

As I read, I noticed the story of this brave officer who was killed was written as a straight news story. It told the story of who the officer was, what happened and gave a little commentary about how members of the community responded to his death. The article did not, however, give any commentary on the cop killer. It called him no names and spoke of how people like him are destroying pillars of our society. It saved that type of language for the people walking down a public chanting, "Black children matter."

No one can find a way to defend the left, BLM, like good Ol Rev. BLM is a pathetic group, and anyone who defends them is no better.

You’re special @Jtre.

I did. Are you serious? I posted that one to show your buddy @Shatterthesky22 that it wasn’t hard to find. Just watch that video under the guy’s tweet. Then you tell me what went on, Rev.

Take off your damn goggles for once, and don’t roll your eyes before looking at it.

Here's the tweet with video in the first piece you posted.

Here is the tweet where the video was originally posted.

You show me the the terrorism. I see people walking and chanting. I even see Santa walking along and waving at folks.

If you read through the thread second thread I posted there is even a mention of a donation made.

Who said anything about terrorism? This is about this pathetic group being disruptive. Only a group so disgusting would do something at a place where people were looking at lights as a fundraiser for child cancer.

Good grief Rev. Go out and buy a f n clue.

I watched it. It was uh, certainly not terrorism. I could see how people maybe annoyed by this (somewhat understandably as they likely brought their kids here as a way to enjoy the holiday season and of course support a good cause) but it was a worst a minor annoyance. No one was harmed, nothing was vandalized and even one was dressed up as Santa. But yeah anything Mac posts tends to be far right, even his second one that I did get to view was plastered with how Dems are working to strip away their freedom. It's ridiculous.

Well, if you want to try to defend BLM’s behavior by criticizing the title of a headline, then that speaks volumes about your character. What BLM did was despicable, and any decent person recognizes that.
At a fundraiser for child cancer? Are you really this much of a POS?

You obviously didn’t even look at the piece. Because he showed a lady making these stupid claims. You are pathetic.

I didn't look at the post. The link I posted should explain why I didn't look at it, but I'll spell it out if you can't figure it out.

According to lawyers for Carlson's in a defamation suit against Carlson, he is not a source of news. Tucker Carlson is in the entertainment business, not the news business. I don't find him entertaining, therefore I don't give him little to none of my time.

To reinforce the notion that Carlson is not in the business of providing fact-based news, I did read an editorial you posted from him a while back. The most striking thing I noticed, when compared to most articles by real journalists, is none of the "facts," he posted were supported by links. Seriously, he made all kinds of claims but none of them had any supporting evidence.

In the current era of digital news, that is very uncommon among legitimate media sources.

The title of the "article" was a ******** title to works up the rubes. It worked. Here you are, posting and freaking out.

They were walking and chanting on a street where people were driving and looking at Christmas lights. According to someone who was there, they even made a donation. From the looks of the video and the posts below the original video, nothing was actually interrupted or disrupted.

You always do the name-calling, but never really use facts. You can't dispute anything I said about the video, so you resort to name-calling.

I'm going to guess you didn't actually watch the video that was linked to the article you shared. When you saw the video you realized you had been played by the guy who wrote the article, so again, you resort to name-calling.

Don't feel bad about it, though. Don't get down on yourself. Rubes like yourself are easy targets for the author. Just work on yourself and you might not fall for this type of thing in the future.

By the way, I thought it was interesting in your original post how you mentioned this as Blacks showing up making trouble for white people. Out of curiosity, do you think whites are the only race of people who donate money to cancer foundations?

You are so dumb. Yes, I watched the video Rev. I don’t think, at a fundraiser for child cancer, is the place for a piece of **** group to be chanting “Black lives matter and black children matter.” You are clueless and racist. You are no better than the BLM marchers, or whatever you want to call them.
Only someone as pathetic as you could twist this all around, and find a way to insert race in, by asking a stupid question about whites being the only people to donate money. Not only are you pathetic, you’re very ignorant.

You're the one who said, "If it were the other way around, and a group of white people were causing trouble around blacks..."

For the other way around to be what you described, the event taking place would have to be a group of Blacks causing trouble for whites. Your implication is that this was a bunch Blacks causing trouble for only whites, which would mean the only people taking part in this type of fundraiser were whites. That would be why I pointed it out.

The fundraiser, from everything I can tell, was on a public street decorated for Christmas. If a group of people, especially people who contributed to the fundraiser, want to chant, "Black Children Matter," as the walk down the stret looking at the decorations, is that really something to get worked up about?

I always wondered how dictators like Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Pol Pot, Chairman Moa, Papa Doc, etc managed to do it. Countries like Russia are so big you had to wonder how he was able to put the fear into almost everyone. Trump's presidency has helped answer that question to a large degree. Who knew so many Americans would be so gullible. So much for American exceptionalism.

Anyone who claims Trump is a dictator doesn’t know the difference between a sneeze and a wet fart.

Chinese President Xi Jinping is more of a dictator. The fact that this is even a topic of a conversations speaks volumes about how Donald Trump has treated the office of the Presidency.

From there article you posted:

"Two main objectives of the Chinese government’s effort appeared to be making the virus impact seem less severe and making government officials appear to have a firmer grip on controlling the outbreak than they actually did, the report said."

From Bob Woodward's book, 'Rage:'

"It's also more deadly than your - you know, your - even your strenuous flus." Private conversation with Woodward.

"I wanted to always play it down. I still like playing it down because I don't want to create a panic." Private conversation with Woodward.

"And, again, when you have 15 people, and the 15 within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero, that's a pretty good job we've done." Public statement in between the two private conversations with Woodward.

"Now I guess we're at 26 deaths. And if you look at the flu, the flu for this year, we're at eight - we're looking at 8,000 deaths. And, you know, hundreds of thousands of cases - we have 8,000 deaths. So you have 8,000 versus 26 deaths at this time." Public statement in between the two private conversations with Woodward.

From the article you posted:

"The Chinese government also ordered security personnel to silence commentators whose views were not aligned with those of the government..."

From Donald Trump's twitter account:

To show this wasn't just a passing idea, here is Trump a year after that tweet:

As you can see, Trump has authoritarian tendencies and desires to act as a dictator. He's just not as good at being a dictator as Xi.

The video above is only about three minutes and it is from a @Mac9192 approved source.

The subject of this "Lou Dobbs Tonight," interview is Eddie Perez, the Global Director of Technology Development and Open Standards for the Open Source Election Technology Institute. As opposed to the guy from Texas who couldn't keep counties in Michigan and Minnesota straight and the guy Sydney Powell cited as a Dominion expert because he read the instruction manual, Perez would meet the legal definition of an election expert.

Probably the most interesting part is the end where Lou Dobbs offers no retort to anything Perez says in the interview.

Smart guy. Handles himself real well in an interview too. “I am not aware,” and “It is my understanding..”
Clever wording on his part.

It's been said by many folks who have worked with and around Donald Trump that when he starts a story with people saying to him, "Mr. President..." the story usually is made up.

That got me to thinking about something I saw him post yesterday:

It made recall something he posted back earlier in the year.

Trump reiterated the above statement during his Axios interview.

Trump has made it regular practice to use racist and bigoted dog whistles, but is, "under control," his dog whistle announcing things are about to fall apart?

Apparently this is Fox trying to offset it's more insane talking heads in an attempt to halt litigation brought forth by Smartmatic.

Not everything Perez said was prefaced the way you describe. Without rewatching the video, Perez clearly stated no U.S. votes are/were calculated overseas. He also stated there is no co-ownership or relationship between Smartmatic and Dominion. Both of those statements go against claims made by Sydney Powell and others.

This is a terrible and pathetic post.

What is pathetic about it?

Do you think Trump's response to his own people blaming Russia for the Solarwinds hack is pathetic, especially when you consider his track record for saying things are "under control," along with his track record for dismissing Russian actions when those dismissals fly in the face of his own intelligence community?

@Jtre doesn’t realize how stupid he is. He posts these comments about Trump, and things he says. All of us Trump supporters have admitted how our President is, yet we like what he’s done.
BUT, when videos are posted that SHOW WITHOUT A DOUBT, just how incoherent Biden is, here he comes defending him, saying “ Oh he’s just joking,” or “That’s Joe being Joe.”

You can’t make this stuff up.
