Yup he more or less said it was okay if the cdc extended the eviction moratorium even though most scholars don’t feel it passed constitutional muster you know with property rights and all because somewhere out there are a few who think it might pass muster. Yikes
Amazing thing in the NYC vaccination mandate means that it will hit mostly against minorities that the liberals and Democrats say that they are the only party that cares about them

There are roughly 334 million in the USA.There are 165 million fully vaccinated Americans,35.6 Americans had Covid giving them natural immunity,72.6 million American children under 18 who the science says are not at risk for the disease that number represents approximately 83 % of Americans are not at risk for a disease that has a 99.5% survival rate.Democrats are still calling for no in school classes and more shut downs.SMDH

A relative said that her primary care dr told her that those that previously had covid do not have natural immunity to the Delta variant. What have you heard about this?

Every thing I have read is that if you have natural immunity that if you do get it it is no worse than a common cold.Laura Ingram had a immunologist who said that natural immunity gives you much better protection than the vaccines.I am obviously not a Doctor but it seems that the risk of being seriously injured by this disease is minimal unless you have serious underlying conditions. To those who says I am just anti vaccine but I say that I got the shingles vaccine because it seemed that I was more apt to be effected by shingles than Covid

Changing the subject As most of you know the person currently identifying as Caitlyn Jenner was once known as Bruce and sired two boys Brody the heartthrob and the other one. Is he the boys father or mother now?

The data is being willfully ignored. it’s not hard to look it up. you can look it up by state right here- https://usafacts.org/visualizations/coronavirus-covid-19-spread-map/state/virginia.

Do the math for yourself. look at the 7 day rolling averages and ask yourself, is this really a constitutional crisis? where somehow we need the CDC (who over the last 18 months has lost more credibility than any other agency in modern times) has the ability to set and make laws?

Over 85% of the most at risk population (65+) is already vaccinated. what are we even doing here?

72% of black folks, and a 65% of hispanics have not been vaccinated. so now they increasingly can’t work or eat out, or go to gyms, or movie theaters, or sporting games etc. because they choose not to get a vaccine?? really?

So we’ve gone from 2 weeks to slow the spread to save the hospital capacity, to, take this vaccine or you are not part of society.

All of this while we just willfully ignore that we are at herd immunity.

odds on next variant is the lambda chi variant, get your futures bets in now.

Watching Cuomo's attorney. She said the investigation was done in a way to support a predetermined outcome.

Who would do something like that?😱😀

For decades, our government and other world leaders have slowly been taking our country away from us. It's like the old frog in the pot. You cook his *** by gradually turning up the heat. Enter Trump in 16. He temporarily turned off the stove. His problem to many? He cussed out the person cooking the frog, and anyone that was near the stove.

These bastards that Trump battled for 4+ years are the most vile and evil people on the planet. It becomes more evident by the day just how much Trump actually did for the citizens of this country. I'm not saying he loves the citizens, but I think it's clear he despised the swamp, which also consists of the media.
If you mean it started w/ President Reagan, I can accept that as as good a starting point as any. That's when the rich stopped paying their fair share and the income gap started to widen. Ultimately I blame the uber-rich and unrestrained capitalism more than I blame government. Citizen/President Trump has always been on the wrong side. He has always been in favor of enriching himself and friends, exploiting anyone else.

Nothing wrong with that at all. She pays out of pocket for her own security detail. She wants public dollars reallocated away from militarized LEO.

Analogy: As a (real) public school employee, I have way more problem w/ charter schools than I do w/ private schools. If you have the money and want to spend it on private education, that's your right. You want public money diverted from real public schools into your own de facto private school? Nope.

If public schools are failing me because i am required to go to the one in my zip code, should i just accept that or should i have the choice to use my education dollars to seek a better education in another district or education alternative? Education by location is asinine and outdated.

When Biden said "build back better", what he really meant was build back whiter.

-cnn if Biden was a republican.
I grew up in a rough area, an area where I got my arse beat more than a few times for being white. I eventually made some close friends after earning my stripes there, and still talk to more than a few of them, all black. They can’t stand Biden. Do they love Trump? Nope, but they can’t believe that blacks still fall for the Left using them as political pawns. Dude literally said “if you don’t vote for me, then you ain’t black”. Imagine if a conservative said that?

You do realize that this is not 1985 anymore right. Yes please tell your super liberal super rich overlords in Silicon Valley that they aren’t paying their fair share. Your Amazon overlord sucker actually has so much disposable cash lying around he can buy networks like cnn and newspapers that no one reads anymore like the Washington compost

he was describing you 🤫

Correct. Datt blames everything on “systemic racism” that only somehow applies to one race, Hispanics and Asians seem to be doing quite well, so guess all of us white supremacists need to read Mein Kampf with help from Cliffs Notes next time. Blacks can do nothing without their white savior overlords like those on this board to rescue them with quotas and the like

Good post. I thought everyone on this board was absolutely drowning in white privilege. Most of the most liberal people I’ve ever met (hey Vermont and Minnesota) have actually lived in the highest percentage white areas in the nation

We know y’all don’t like competition. That someone can take the same kids you and your union have failed with and have success with. Yeh we get it. After the past 15 months everyone’s starting to get it. I have no doubt you’re a great teacher and are saving lives. But as a product of public schools for 12 years half the teachers were good the other half were bad to mediocre but virtually nothing none of them could be fired. Let’s start getting rid of bad teachers. I’m sure you know a bunch who are phoning it in. Let’s be honest.

Of course he knew what it was. He can’t refute any of the points that the data make. If you think the CDC can now make laws, well we are screwed.

You should have the right to whatever you want within certain parameters. Public money should not go to charter schools without far greater requirements.

Uh. That is not a ruling. It is a rejection of a request to lift a stay during the pendency of the appeal. And, the government won. The court did not lift the stay so the moratorium on the ban on evictions was continued. If I were a Republican senator, I would hope that when a case does actually get to the Supremes that the court sides with the government. Otherwise, the president will go back to ask Congress to act and the Republican senators will have to go on record saying they oppose continuing the moratorium. That will not be a popular position with a lot of constituents.

Other than all the Black and brown (cap or not)killed in the meantime due to out of control urban violence. Hard to say but I think the SHTF a while back. Dattier won’t ever crumble. Hell just tell himself the same old lies. It’s trumps fault Reagans fault If only rich people making 200 k a year would pay a 90 percent tax rate and live in double wides we could live in a crime free poverty free paradise. Of course there’d be no incentive for the next gen to go to law school med school or own a business but hey that’s their problem.

Gray area? Kind of like your gods Clinton and Cuimo are in a gray atea? This buffoon from St Louis with an 80 iq if she’s lucky gets to operate in a gray area but your Lucifer Trump. Everything was pretty black and white wasn’t? Do you ever actually reread your posts?

I am not sure what your question is. Again, the only thing the Supreme Court did was say that the district court's stay could not be lifted pending appeal. It is true that Kavanaugh actually explained his ruling and experts feel that was a signal that the Court would not accept another CDC ban but would require Congress to act. That still, btw, is not a ruling. As far as literally saying you don't have to pay rent, maybe you are seeing something I am not but I haven't seen that. It is true that one could argue that banning evictions in essence results in that but, and I am just spitballing here, I would imagine that landlords could take some action over people who have the means to pay rent but just decided not to.
As far as the CDC, they have some room here under the Public Health Services act so the question will be whether they overstepped.
