Unfortunately they’re at greater risk because of low vaccination rates and other reasons I understand part of the historical reasons for their vaccine hesitancy. However the vaccines are free and if they choose not to get it that’s fine. I wish the vax rates were higher but I think we’re probably as high as we’re going to getOooooh. Black people are 60% more likely to be diabetic. Diabetes is the top underlying condition that leads to severe illness or death when it comes to covid outside of old age. This is likely the reason for them being at higher risk. We know why a lot of them don't trust vaccines.
