This is a blatant misrepresentation of what I’ve said from pretty much day one. Let me repeat it for the millionth time.

If you have a n95, form fitted to your specific face. Worn correctly, ONE SINGLE TIME, yes they can be effective.

That is not what is happening world wide. It will never happen. Datt even tried to say we spend however many billions of dollars on n95 production instead of military (I think that’s what he said but could be corrected). Whatever it was, the amount of masks we would need would have to be in the billions, conservatively, and each would have to be form fitted to your face.

And to add further, the cloth masks you and I are forced to use, they do little to nothing. I always use the analogy, it’s like putting up a chain link fence to keep bugs out.

So again, let me repeat for those in the back that want to twist and turn everything. 1. Those cloth masks that we keep in our glove compartments, that we reuse without washing, that we spend all day pulling up and down our faces, they do more harm than good. So the coaches wearing them (while vaccinated) is comic theatre. 2. Whatever that post was with the Holocaust denier, I have no clue who he is btw. I also said anyone denying the Holocaust is an idiot. Same with 9/11 truthers. But he didn’t do the studies. He just aggregated 15 or so of them that were done over the last 50 or so years from medical facilities and hospitals saying the efficacy of cloth masks are very low or not at all in preventing viral transmission. So hate the source, not the studies. Pretty logical.

I cannot be more clear on this.
Well then let me be clear. A Holocaust denier is not just an idiot. He is a dangerous anti-semite who has no problem spitting on the graves of the Six Million and does not care whether his views result in violence from his supporters. Anything associated with him should be suspect. And this idiot was not just a Holocaust denier. He also supported the people who believed that the massacre at Sandy Hook never happened and it was a dry run for actors. Do you really think that a guy who thinks that way is going to go out and find well reasoned and fairly done studies? No way. He is going to find whatever garbage is consistent with his beliefs. In fact, I believe the first study on his list was criticized for failing to follow rigorous scientific standards. And as for the masks, you can believe what you want but I bet you are still out of step with the rest of the world. You only have to look at the news to see people in those surgical masks and then there are the KN-95s and KF-94s, which are considered pretty damn good at making sure we don't spread the virus when we talk and breathe. So that gets back to Datt's point as to how, according to you, all these countries have been suckered into behaving in a way that has no medical benefit.

That's actually not why I step away. When I find myself getting down to your level and slinging insults, I give myself a time out. Might need one right about now.

^ Slinging insults while trying to say he gives himself timeouts when he does so. Will he stay true to his word or will he forget he said it like President Biden would?

The lack of allowing for a debate is not laughable, it’s scary. We are just supposed to believe what is fed to us by these bureaucratic doctors, and government leaders. Then we find out they are doing the exact opposite of what they’re telling us. Countless examples of the blatant hypocrisy.
The left doesn’t want a debate. “Just shut up and do what we say, even though we are going to do what we want.” In what f n world is this fair?

Durham and Datt have **** down their leg, yet walk around accusing others of farting.

Who are all these countries that have proved that those cloth masks work? Where are these studies? Where is the data? Seriously. I’m in Europe right now, I certainly am not noticing it. I see a bunch of morons with cloth masks around their chins while they smoke cigarettes though. That’s a doozy.

Here’s a simple one for you and everyone else. If YOU think masks work and want to wear them, knock yourself out. Keep on rocking that custom cloth mask in your car that you’ve reused 27 times this week.

I know you aren’t wearing a new n95 mask every single time you need to use one.

But keep on lecturing everyone else on how they’re spreading an airborne virus that will never go away. You know what else will probably never go away now? This obsession with masking human beings for an airborne virus.

That's not exactly what I said, but no need to correct it.

The dude you cited referenced 15 or so studies over the last 50 years out of how many that have been done over the last 50 years? Did he go 15 for 15 because that's what the first 15 he found said and he figured the mercy rule applied? Or did he cherry-pick 15 studies from 150 that said what he wanted and then package them for people who wanted to hear it?

The most recent article I have posted on the subject acknowledges that it's a complicated issue... before ultimately coming down very clearly in the pro-mask camp. If the sources you're looking at are leading you to conclude that this is a laughable debate with really obvious answers, you should be more skeptical.

What I think about that is that the greatest military power in the history of the world can only be held in check by choice, and refusing to check it is at least partially responsible for the existence of many groups like the Taliban.

I don’t doubt for a second that he cherry picked them. Everyone with an agenda in all sorts of fields do the exact same thing to try and prove the theory they’re pushing. Sales people do it all the time. MSM has been doing it with the virus the last 18 months.

Data with this virus and just a common sense, logical, understanding of masking and airborne viruses and how they are spread, how they live etc. make it a pretty easy understanding of what works and what doesn’t. I provided you what works for masks. It doesn’t discount the lunacy of the multi use, constant touching, not wearing properly of every other mask out there (99.9%).

You are just so funny. Also, thanks for jumping in and correcting the poster who used the wrong pronouns. A snowflake like me would just fall apart otherwise. So nice to see you worry about ny sensibilities. Such a gentleman!

What’s funny is that your satire on this subject makes fun of the far left libs that do actually lose their marbles (see what I did there) over being misgendered.

Great theory to debate some other time but probably not the best idea when we have stranded American citizens and are relying on the goodwill of a terrorist regime.

Considering the amount of misinformation, politicization, and divisiveness out there, what legitimacy does anyone have to claim what common sense is? For my two cents, "common sense" is that anything is better than nothing, just like coughing into your elbow is better than coughing into your hand and coughing into your hand is better than coughing without covering your mouth at all.

If you don't doubt that he cherry-picked them, why would you trust him? Why wouldn't you distrust his agenda as much as you apparently distrust MSM's?

There’s a bit of conflating between common courtesy and general common sense. You’re taught at 3 years old to cover your mouth. It’s not bc your magically going to stop a spread of an airborne virus. It’s bc it’s amazingly rude to cough in someone’s face. It’s why you practice personal space when you’re talking to someone. It’s rude to just get right up into their personal zone (see Seinfeld, the close talker). The common sense of masking is that the cloth masks being reused over and over again, common sense tells us that it does more harm than good. But by all means, if you THINK it does something, knock yourself out.

There are agendas with everyone. Cherry picked scientific studies that are done by medical institutions, complete with thousands upon thousands of data sets. At least that’s making an argument for your theory and using that to back it up. MSM on both sides uses a bunch of subjective, often taken out of context, “experts” to fill their agenda.

Don’t know the guy, but he was spot on. Surprised to hear such honest comments.
Of course he's spot on. Everything he said have been issues for a long time now. I know it, you know it and several others on this thread know it. Why are they (establishment media) now starting to call it out? When the narrative starts changing, something is up. The beginning of the end for Biden as POTUS? "Most" everyone knows he's a schill and a puppet for the left.

Well, be careful there. This is Morning Joe Scarborough. He is a Republican who has a regular show on MSNBC -- one of those msms that you claim are so slanted you won't bother looking at them.

You got an answer for everything. Blame, shift, divert. You may be the most thickheaded, dedicated, yet delusional, poster here. Wash, rinse, repeat.

I don’t think you would change your stance even if water boarded.

Either way, he is MSM and you thought it was a good idea to post what he said. Maybe time to rethink your refusal to look at any MSM site.
What the hell does this even mean? I posted the video because it is shocking to hear the truth from that cesspool of a network. Are you okay?

Just fine thank you. And how do you know this video was out of the ordinary for Joe? Perhaps he is like that on his Morning Show? Perhaps you should actually watch it, even on the evil MSNBC, to find out.

So knowing the dire situation for 15,000 Americans in Afghanistan, our government tells them that if they can make it to the airport, their flights will be paid for. Thanks guys, hopefully we don't get a bullet in the head on the way there seeing how you've already said that you can't protect us. What a shitshow. Where's Joe? On his way back to assisted living in Delaware. Where's the cackling VP? But hey. Orange man gone. Orange man can't tweet anymore.

Oh and sorry about your crumbling narrative that Jan 6th was some kind of insurrection. GD clowns.

Not quite what he said but either way, a pretty bad look for Biden . . . and for Trump who negotiated the withdrawal during his presidency directly with the Taliban. But still, Biden is president and so much of this is on him.
As for 1/6: the FBI report does not suggest that the attack on the Capitol was by BLM or Antifa and the fact that it was not organized in advance does not make it any less an insurrection especially given Trump's speeches. The article attached is food for thought for those who somehow still don't think the attack as a big deal.

Nail, meet Hammer! I'll add, not only do they need to be honest about the risk of Cv, they need to be honest about the risk these experimental shots present. They also need to be honest about other SAFE drugs that have been on the market for years that is equally if not more effective against this virus.

It's a good clip. He comes across as empathetic toward reasons people aren't vaccinated while still encouraging it. I hope his influence leads to more people being vaccinated.
