Blinken said there were 1500 Americans left in Afghanistan while a Congressional briefer reported that there were 4500 left.Hope Blinken is right but show how this administration cannot give consistent facts to the country. No wonder why Biden’s polls are headed south. Is this another attempt to claim that the evacuation is is a major success?

Not surprising that you would conflate being a business owner with billionaires who own NBA teams. Scary and sad Please tell me that you don’t actually teach economics to your students
Well, @Mac9192 and I were talking specifically about the NBA, so my comments were specific to that, too.
My partner is a small business owner for the past ten years and counting, so I have a good bit of observational & assisting experience there. It's still not about philanthropy.

Eh. The "power of the individual" just sounds like the newest iteration of the "American Dream" to me, and it's largely snake oil and pipe dreams, imo. We do a really horrible job of looking out for "the least of these" for a country supposedly founded on Christian values.

I think we see things fundamentally very differently, the opportunity provided to people in the US and the role that government should play in that journey. However, despite our different opinions, there are some aspects of the current situation we are in,and being put there by the present administration that should be universally acknowledged as flawed. Ignoring them hurts all Americans on both sides - their financial future, their safety, their security and their right to choose how they live.

Congratulations. It’s official! Troll of the week! You and your “partner” will be receiving an Applebee’s gift card in two days or two weeks who knows it’s the post office but you’ll get it soon. Classic post insulting our country our judeo Christian heritage. I bet you’re giggling when you type this **** out on your little pinko smart phone

Question to the liberals on the board. If 44 to47 percent of workers pay zero taxes and the top ten percent pay 71% of the total taxes, this means the other 43% pay the other 29%.How is the tax system unfair

Criticism isn't inherently insulting. We never improve if we don't turn a critical eye inward.

If by "present administration" you mean just President Biden's 7 months, I think that's really short-sighted and partisan. There've been troubling trends for working class Americans for far longer than that and who was in the White House only affected how we felt about it.

In the short time Biden has been in office, look at how things have changed from where they were in November 2020. Inflation is killing people. And gas prices since then are crippling as well.

Who does that hurt, the guy that makes 6+ figures, or the guy making around 50-60k with a family?

Strong move to the basket. So when the walking dead Joe talks about not raising taxes on anyone making less than 450k a year he failed to mention that gas prices would go over 3 a barrel and our trips to the grocery store would require us to pull a second mortgage

Why have all these daily price increases during a pandemic?

It’s more than fair to say our new administration is intentionally trying to hurt us.

President Biden wasn't in office until January 20, 2021. Why go back to November? What decisions has President Biden made since then that have adversely affected inflation and gas prices?

But on the bright side Mac there are those like the almighty Dattier who seem amused by our country’s rapid decline

Well when he does stupid stuff like kill the Keystone but approve the Nord Stream then bed OPEC to increase production and lower prices. It's pretty obvious. LOL...you can't even make it up. I do realize there are many many more examples. Just didn't have the energy to write them out. Ugh...

keystone def could be an issue in the future, but isnt there plenty of pipeline capacity currently existing to carry crude oil between canada and the us.....

Correct, the pipeline is a minimal issue...the banning and cancellation of drilling permits on federal land is the major reason we are seeing oil prices increase and gas at the pump go up. Pretty easy fix....give permits on federal land and we will be oil independent and market forces will reduce gas per gallon....not rocket science.

Don’t you realize that liberal woke ideology negates basic supply and demand economics

If the pipeline wasn't a current situation, then why are we begging OPEC to increase output and buying oil from Russia and Iran? Nobody has a problem with going from the closest to energy independence we've been to buying oil from our enemies in such short time?

The pipeline isnt and wont be completed until the admin changes, it was to send Canadian oil sands for refining so that would affect the amount of gas supply...and now its causing raised prices since its no longer happening. Domestic Oil production is the key..we are back to buying from our adversaries and at their whim for production...its an embarrassment to be back in this position given where we were.

Of course they have a problem with it. It's just Orange man was the reason gas was low, and they refuse to admit he did anything good. Which we know he did a lot of good.

You could pick an average 10 year old, and they'd make better decisions than these clowns.

This press conference is a complete joke. He loses his spot on the teleprompter after his moment of silence, during which he was playing in his pockets. Says I have been given this list on who I am supposed to take questions from. He is being led by the nose and those doing the leading are a bunch of jackasses.

Ok. Covid question. I have a friend that was put in the hospital with a positive covid test. They kept them there for 3 days. They sent them home with cough medicine and an inhaler. They asked 3 different times for something in writing that they had been in the hospital with a positive test. The hospital has yet to provide that information. I wonder why?

People better wake up and realize the dangerous road we are on. This is just the beginning and the sabe rattling is only going to pick-up from other anti-American regimes.

Regardless of whether you agree with his politics or not all the Bidens are complete tools. He’s like the guy you mistakenly voted in for your fraternity and you regretted it forever after
