Our society has gone to pure ****. Pampering .03% of the population who need help mentally. Ignoring 1.7mil people illegally crossing the border (unvaxxed), contributing to the supply chain crisis, incentivizing people not to work. Making the heroes of last year enemies of today. The list goes on.

No, I just refuse to let something like that happen to my granddaughter. I think 90% of this board would be the same way. The ones who wouldn't? Well, I guess they thinks its ok for a strange man to go in the bathroom with a little girl

Dattier has shown what a pathetic loser he is. Makes a generic comment about rape being horrific, yet says nothing about the cross dressing, mentally disturbed boy that is responsible. Or the school system that tried to hide this.

Good news though. If you came into this country illegally. Aka you broke the law…what’s the Biden administration’s punishment? You get paid nearly a half million.

For reference if you die serving your country in the military, your family gets $400k.

Things are fine guys.

If they outrebound us we will lose. But with Mark, Banchero and Theo I doubt they will. We do need to stay in front of their guards.

Oooh, you sound just like Dirty Harry!

Don't you get it? That might hurt the sensitive boy's feelings. He's got rights you know!

Yeah? What are my news sources? And what are yours?

I didn't know of it. That's why I asked. I've vaguely heard of the "domestic terrorists" thing, but I don't know what that's all about, either.

I don't believe you have the slightest grasp on the "state of our country." You have to be a pretty arrogant, narrow-minded, simplistic blowhard to think you can sum up what's wrong with the world today or the country today or these dern kids today in a sentence or 1200.
Lmfao - looks like you’ll need another self-imposed mental timeout soon!

ps - @bleediteveryday30 lurking but afraid to speak up 😂

Why is it any different from letting a strange man go in the bathroom with a little boy? We do that all the time.

I've shown what a pathetic mind reader I am.
If there was a cover-up, some heads should proverbially roll, and it seems some have. There is no connection between the rape and their bathroom policy.
I do not recognize a mentally disturbed boy in this story at all, unless you mean you and your boys commenting on it so ignorantly in this thread.

Eh, I just hate all the ganging up that goes on in the echo chamber here. It is what it is though. I've said how I feel in the past over and over again. No need to go back through all that again. Too much hate, nastiness, bitterness, and rudeness exists in this world today. We're all different and yet in the end we all face the same dirt nap. Can't stand the American political and social landscape today because I fear it has divided us to the point of no return. We're all Duke fans, so at least we can unite over that one thing. Well, sometimes....those game day threads.

If you don't see the difference in a man and a boy going in the men's room vs a man and a little girl going in the women's room, it won't do you any good for me to explain it.
You can't explain it because there is no difference, other than how you added "little" to describe the girl. A child predator is a child predator, doesn't matter what their sex or gender is.

A boy wearing a skirt to obtain school approved access to the girls’ bathroom and then raping a girl while he is in there. No connection with the bathroom policy. Riiiiight

You say that about every third post. Get a new line. Boooooooooooring.
I don’t know if I’ve heard Mac say that before, but if he has, classics are called classics for a reason. I see in your self imposed exile that you haven’t abandoned your basic position re politics: when bad things happen due to bad naive liberal policy, it’s always the same deflect and then go on personal attacks: racist bigot blah blah blah

He’s not a girl. If you know the facts involved with the case, he’s a mentally disturbed boy who used the trans bathroom policy to rape a person who is actually a girl, you know someone with a va jay jay not a ding a ling

Since I know most of you won't read this link let me summarize. The bathroom policy was not in effect at the time of the rape and the victim and the accuser had been in a relationship and had had sex before this attack. That ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT excuse the boy's behavior but it does show that the story is more complicated and has nothing to do with the bathroom policy.

Important facts, for sure. I have only followed at the surface and don't watch tv news. So I only have knowledge on what I have read from other posters.

With that said, there should be a boys room and a girls room. Common sense stuff.

you’re right. I’m not going to read it. The Old Gray Lady has turned into a partisan shill for the Dem Party and has been for decades. What you think about Fox News the other half of the country thinks about the NYT. So all the parents in that particular school district are misinformed but somehow as usual you know best. Welcome back!😂

So I guess you’re aware that most parents are actually as upset about the subsequent coverup as they are anything else. I guess you’re also aware that he had assaulted another student at another school prior to this incidentwhich was also a factor in the parental outcry over how this was all handled

if a school has a rule that allows boys that id as girls to go in girls bathrooms and vice versa, that is 1 billion % wrong on all levels imo.....what the boy did was WRONG, NO MEANS NO...it seems the girls bathroom was their meet up place...i think some shenanigans are going on politically here in regards to the actual facts vs agendas.....the school board is wrong if trying to cover up anything

*not my words*

And indeed, the facts of the Loudoun County case they have been touting don’t seem to line up either, as The Washington Post recounted from the trial:
On Monday, the teenage victim of the Stone Bridge assault testified that she and her attacker had agreed to meet up in a school bathroom around 12:15 p.m. on the date of the assault. She testified they had not explicitly discussed having sex beforehand.
The teen testified she arrived first and chose to go in the girls’ bathroom because the two had always met in the girls’ bathrooms in the past. When the boy arrived, the teen testified, he came into the handicapped stall she was in and locked the door.
The two talked, before the girl testified the boy began grabbing her neck and other parts of her body in a sexual manner. She testified she told her attacker she was not in the mood for sex, but he forced himself on her.
The judge found the boy, who is now 15, guilty.

During the hearing, the 15-year-old victim in the first case testified she had consensual sexual encounters with the defendant on two occasions in a girls’ bathroom at Stone Bridge High School in Ashburn. On May 28, she said, the two arranged to meet again and the youth threw her to the floor and forced her to perform sex acts.

Can't let the libtards push the Loudon County School incident into a mutual meetup event. That part may or may not be true. Teenagers do lie. Maybe the girl is lying. But that's not the only issue. The school and school board handled it awful. The dad has every right to be upset, yet his reaction spurned the "domestic terrorists" chant by some of datt & durhams relatives. After all that, a weak *** apology was issued by the superintendent, with also one of the board members resigning.

I actually give you the respect of reading the things you post. I checked on your reference to The Week and you are correct about its politics and the article about kids transitioning too young. I am not quite sure why you are so allergic to reading another opinion.
As for the Old Gray Lady comment, I don't insult you, although I would love to let loose. But, I gain nothing by launching an insult at a screen.
Anyway, back to the topic at hand. I am also aware that this kid had sexually assaulted someone else. One important point, though. That assault did not take place in a bathroom so clearly a bathroom policy that was not even in effect yet did not provide the impetus for this kid.
The issue with trans kids is complicated and nuanced. It is not at all clear to me that this kid was actually trans since that term means more than simply donning a skirt. If you tell transitioning boys that they have to use the boys bathroom, how safe do you think they will be? You honestly don't think that some bigger kids or bullies will beat the crap out of them? Does that even matter to you?
Also, Datt is absolutely correct that if the issue were really safety in bathrooms, the parents of boys under 12 would never let them going into a men's room by themselves or roam around a field during a town soccer league. Plenty of predator pedophile grown men out there just looking for prepubescent boys to fondle or even rape. This transphobia isn't really about safety at all. It is about picking on people you don't like who just want to be able to live their lives not hiding who they are.

It's disgusting that there are parents that allow children to transition, that's the real issue with trans kids. It's sick and it's child abuse. Parents go to jail for allowing their kids to have sex parties and consume drugs and alcohol, as they should. But this is okay. What a time to be alive.

i don’t want anyone to be bullied. I don’t think people are born transphobic; it’s become too political and children’s lives are being ruined and the msm and activist doctors are hiding the complicated truth about transitional surgery and hormone blockers

Where is your outrage about bringing the prior sexual history of the victim into play.Guess that doesn’t come into play and f it affects the liberal agenda

I did not bring it into play, the victim did and it also explains what the boy was doing there and the fact that this had nothing to do with a trans bathroom policy. . In these types of cases, the fact that the victim has had a relationship with the accused is fair game. See New York Criminal Procedure Law Section 60.42(1) for example. Perhaps you missed the bolded part of my comments that their prior history did not provide an excuse for his attack
