Notice how she had zero interest in calling out Joetato's hypocrisy and cowardice.
Divert. Best part about is guys like Joe Rogan, Aaron Rodgers, are admitted not conservative. Even your girl Greta called out sleepy. That has to hurt.

Eh. I wouldn't give her that credit. She demanded we all call out Trump, now she refuses to do so for Biden in the guise of not being confrontational. How hard is it to say, yeah Biden ran a campaign promising to handle the pandemic better than the sitting president and fast forward to today he tucks his tail between his legs and passes the buck?.

For clarification. It's fine that she doesn't want to address anything that paints her side in a negative color. That is certainly her right. But I wouldn't call it fair.

I disagree with your take but every time I defend what Biden has done or point out that Trump bears a great deal of responsibility for what is going on, you guys dismiss what I have to say and some of you call me stupid or a brainwashed sheep. Why would I want to continue to subject myself to that?

The reason I said it was fair was that you’re right, the right won’t give you that benefit of the doubt. You also refuse to acnknowlege any of the non partisan discussions that relate to the virus. You immediately dismiss anything that doesn’t fall along party lines. Believe me, the right does this a lot too, but any discussion of therapeutics not named the vaccine, you immediately dismiss. So on the one hand I agree, on the other hand, you’re now admitting by saying we won’t accept anything good about how Biden or your boy Tony have handled the virus, as just partisan, which isn’t true. If you simply go back and just look at what they’ve said then and where we are now and what they say now, it has nothing to do with fair and balanced, it’s complete partisanship.

What is my take? You have always taken small bits out of big points and attacked those small bits while disregarding the overall point. Then you accuse people of calling you names so you can take the high road. Just the other day you quoted me and accused me of calling you ignorant and said that I resorted to name calling. Neither of which were true. I asked you to show me where I did either of the things you accused me of and then followed up on a discussion to the topic. You never responded to any of it.

Also, you haven't defended what Biden has done with any kind of objectivity. To your credit that would be hard to do for anyone.

Let me ask you an honest question and I will not harp on it at all. Even if I find your answer totally unreasonable. Are you disappointed, not only with Biden's handling of the pandemic, but with his decision to remove responsibility from himself after promising that HE would shut down the virus?

Wrong thread, silly.
You know the game is over when Durham tries to call out someone for posting inappropriately based on the nature of the thread and then she posts on the wrong thread I guess desperate times call for desperate measures

You and I are reading different discussions then. Please show me where Ghost or Mac were not dismissive of whatever I have said. Same for you as a matter of fact. Honestly, I have seen nothing that is not partisan. The fact that you just referred to "my boy Tony" when I was talking about Biden and did not mention Fauci speaks volumes about where we are. We all, and I mean all, are guilty of dismissing the other side. there are ways to have these discussions like grown-ups and I have seen them on the DBR forum about the virus. But there, the mods take a more aggressive step in stamping out the insults. I would love to see that happen here.

So you’re okay with Joe now passing the buck to the states, yet somehow Covid in New York was all Trumps fault. Surely you recognize the inconsistency here; when Biden performs in a competent way I’ll give him credit as I did Clinton often Obama much less often. Biden is a national embarrassment and his policies have been disastrous for most Americans. Inflation is a hidden tax that is crushing the poorest among us.

It’s unfortunate that name calling is so common but when supporters of Fauci and Biden refuse to honestly assess their performance to date, it’s clear that they’re supported for reasons other than facts or logic. The vaccines have not stopped the spread of Omicron yet now we’re supposed to take Faucis word that the booster is highly effective. Based on what? For the vast majority it is asymptomatic or a cold basically. Two in my family tested pos last week; no symptoms. College age kids are not normally affected by infection; time to quit living in fear

The economy is rebounding at an amazing rate. The problem at the ports is easing up and we have a President who does not spending his time trolling twitter to make sure that no one is saying anything mean about him. I mean really, what's to like? Yes, inflation is a problem but it is a problem brought on by the economy overheating now that people are spending money they saved during the pandemic. And that is why the Fed is changing its policies to combat inflation. As far as "passing the buck," he is telling the governors that they are the ones in the position to enforce policies to combat the virus and the federal government is there to back them up. Is that passing the buck or being realistic about the best way to end this pandemic? As we get further into the pandemic we learn more about the best ways to deal with it. I know Biden is not an inspiring speaker and I wish he would take more risks but he actually is doing a good job. Ironically while Trump and his acolytes complained about the bad press Trump got, the press has been brutal to Biden as well.

I am guilty of blaming the left. And I’m not ashamed to admit it. Their views and governing are ruining our country. I’ll also admit there’s some gutless cowards on the right.
Too many have been in power for way too long, and it’s not only the left. But the left brings NOTHING good to the table but fairy tale ideas, and seeing problems and finding someone to blame. They offer zilch in terms of bettering our country.

I’ll say it again, what these pieces of **** are doing to our youth, and how they have managed Covid, is nothing short of criminal. And if you support any of them, you’re almost as guilty.

Perfect example. I thought my reply was pretty fair. And that’s great about DBR, no one is forcing you to discuss things here. I don’t care for name calling etc. but is it really a discussion when each side immediately dismisses it? No. It’s talking points.

You dismissed the entire discussion Dr. McCoulough (sp) had with Joe Rogan. You said you looked into him and dismissed him. But when I do the same for Tony, you call me wrong for that. So it’s a circular discussion.

What I found good about that podcast between him and rogan was something in particular and that was why are we not treating people correctly. Why is it vaccines or bust. Why is it so wrong to say that people who have had Covid have a level of immunity. Why is it so wrong to say there are other treatments that work? If we can’t even get to that point, what are we even doing?

Then as it relates to Duke- the random masks, comical social distancing etc, I mean come on that is such a joke. These are things I’ve pointed out for over a year. Wear masks the game before VT but not wear them against Tech. It’s so stupid that we are either dumb or we are willingly going along.

Well the ones in the hospitals are the ones who are not vaccinated and the new variant is effecting the kids who were not vaccinated so the vaccine is doing its job. It would be nice if the entire country committed to getting the vaccine rather than this ridiculous ignorant spoiled-brat you-can't-make-me attitude that passes for libertarianism.

McCullough is a hack and the solutions he is peddling are nonsense. We can certainly have conversations about alternative treatments when they are backed by science. But when the best you can do is go to a website of a holocaust denier and conspiracy theorist, that should tell you something about the value of these alternatives.

Thank you for proving my point. You’re not capable of a discussion until your play sheet of partisan talking points is available. Explain to me why he is a hack? Did you listen to the podcast? Did you listen to the data? The research? The examples of myocarditis among male teens? Did you listen to the different doctors who all came up with the same treatment plans on their own that have been proven effective? Or is that all hack too?

I actually do read and listen to doctors who share different view points and I too talk to scientists. To prove why pint, I posted an article about the lack of merit to Dr. McCullough's points. You say I am partisan, there is truth to that. We all are. I don't understand why you can't admit that it applies to you as well. And, not to beat a dead horse but some of your resources are hack websites run by conspiracy theorists, and yet you defend them. Mac's comment that I am a "deranged lady" is emblematic of the problem with this thread. As a mod, I would hope you might do something about that but apparently you agree with him.

Sorry, Ghost I did not see this. As far as you calling me ignorant, in the post to which you are referring I asked Fourteen to explain something and your retort was the fact that I asked showed that I had not been paying attention for the last year. By any metric that is calling me ignorant. As far as my name calling comment, I was talking in general about what goes on here. Mac just called me deranged and he has called me batshit crazy and a few other things, including stupid and the worst poster ever (until someone else comes along that he dies not like). You have agreed with him. How is that not name calling? As for Biden, there are things I wish he had done sooner, like beefing up production of. home testing kits. But, his leadership on this is heads and shoulders above Trump's. Had we had a President who admitted in public what he admitted in private about the threat posed by this virus and tried to bring the country together instead of using it as any way to divide us, who knows where we might be now. Instead, Biden has to play catch up and try to convinced Trump's brainwashed base to do the things that might get us out of this. For those who are going to say that we have tried them and they have not worked, then fact is that far too many people have refused to get vaxxed or wear masks so we actually don't know whether they would have worked.

The economy is overheated due to artificial stimulus provided by Biden’s spending spree. Afghanistan, inflation, failed covid policy, no longer energy independent. This is why Biden polls slightly better than Jeffrey Dahmer. The media has nothing to do with it. They’re trying to cover for a while but realize he’ll lose in 2024 so they are in cut and run mode now

NYC has a mask mandate and vax mandates and yet they are drowning in omicron. Why do you keep singing the same tune when the rest of the choir has gone home?

His positions on Covid and appropriate treatment are based on fallacies, and that makes him a hack. And there are plenty of hacks who treat patients and sit on boards.

And there were large swaths of the city that refused to get vaccines or wear masks and sadly, they did not just stay in their bacakyard but got on subways and went into stores with the rest of us.
