Huh? If they're old enough to dress themselves, they are old enough to be influenced. If a boy is wearing a dress, the parent can either think it's cute and encourage them. Or be a good parent and think it's cute but explain what proper attire is. Your boy is free to wear a dress, but you're setting him up for societal issues by encouraging it.

Nope. I am going to raise my child to be kind and respectful of others. No matter their differences. I am also going to do my best not to put her in a position to be bullied or ridiculed for things that shouldn't be encouraged by me. Whether it is right or wrong. It's about controlling the things that you can and learning how to adapt to the things you can't. You can't control how society reacts to your weirdness, whatever it may be. You can control how you present yourself which means that you accept that you may be exposed to ridicule. That's not to say that anyone deserves to be ridiculed. It's just a fact that it exists.

Her! I hadn't heard the gender. Girls are great. I tend to lean toward not finding out, but we did with our third and it was kind of like getting to know your baby a little before they were even here.
I'll only add that you can also learn to control how you react to society's judgment. There are times for knowing how to read the room and fit in like a team player, and there are times for running your own race and having the courage to shrug off the haters.

It's uncommon. There's nothing wrong with it. It doesn't cause them to end up gay or trans (which is what you're really terrified of).
