Yet another person using a strawman about who an opponent is because they’re afraid of meeting them on equal footing.

But if we’re playing that game, today’s GOP already DOES call their 2008 candidate a RINO.

And if we’re actually trying to play fair, why not just accept that a lot has changed in 16 years and for better or worse, politicians have followed suite?
Your response to this doesn't make any since at all. There was no strawman. It was a basic statement that is pretty much spot on. There hasn't been anything that has changed in 16 years that would make that statement dated. It is something that should still be said today. The only thing that has changed is how radical the left has become when it comes to immigration.

I guess labeling something as a strawman depends on whether you accept the depiction as accurate or not. I’d say just about everyone’s ideas about immigration have advanced since then.

Problem is, we're not just talking about immigration. It is illegal immigration specifically. There should never be an advanced idea on illegal immigration. It should always be universally condemned. Democrats used to have common sense ideas, now they are fully on board the open border train.

Kamala tried to mock Trump by saying that people were leaving his rallies early because they were bored and tired of his messages. What's funny is not only is that not true, but look at her rallies. She didn't even show up for her rally in Detroit because Obama and Eminem were the headliners anyways. She lied to rally goers in Houston, making them think they were going to see Beyonce perform. After she spoke for 90 seconds and left the stage, half the crowd left. While Kamala was speaking. After that, the boos were so loud that Kamala couldn't be heard through the microphone. There is not a single instance where this has happened to Trump

When have you ever acknowledged that the Democratic Party had common sense ideas?

Mmm-hmm. And when have I ever said you never said they never said I said you never had any common sense ideas? 🙄

It’s okay that you don’t have an answer. That was kinda my point.

By advanced it’s clear that your little fingers almost typed evolved, but you know that’s overused and obnoxious. So you went with advanced. As I’ve said before you’re not fooling anyone with this schtick

Also, there will never be a situation where a Trump supporter screams angrily in the face of a 3 year old. These people are sick.
Correct. For most Rep, politics is just something we have to deal with. For Dems, it’s their religion and Trump is the anti christ Only way you can explain their blind devotion to Obama, Biden, and now the biggest farce of them all: Msm- created Kamala. So unpopular it was discussed she’d be replaced as Biden’s running mate even on liberal outlets.
Now here we are: she’s going to save us all from the evils of peace, lower prices, and lower taxes all in the name of checking off a couple of boxes on the identity scorecard

Just because you divert from the topic with dumb questions that are irrelevant to the discussion, doesn't mean that I am obligated to answer your dumb questions. You aren't well now, I hope you'll be alright next week.

If Trump wins next week, it will be in part due to condescending, out of touch Dems like yourself. Thanks, Datt. Keep up the good work
You’re essentially saying I’m so transparent that you can read my mind… but I’m condescending.

What the progressives have done with identity politics is rile up a base of people who never voted before and they do now because of how emotionally imprisoned they are on single issues. The number of people who vote solely because they want to be able to kill their baby or they think that republicans are going to be able to keep them from loving who they love or keep them from chopping their dicks off is insane. Even if it is only 1% of the voting base. They're all insane and they want us to think that we are the crazy, radical and weird ones.

By pretending there was a time when you considered the Democratic Party reasonable you’re trying to cast yourself as measured and reasonable. That makes your critique of how far they’ve gone seem credible. In truth, you’ve been talking about how they were off-the-rails extreme forever, so everything you say just comes off as a bunch of chicken little jowl-wagging.

Only one candidate’s campaign rally this weekend featured a speaker literally calling the other candidate The antichrist.

“Great replacement theory”? Fear of immigrants? Identity politics goes both ways.

There are single-issue voters in both sides of the abortion debate. There are single-issue voters who think they’re saving children from mutilation, or that we’re under attack from the south, or that someone is coming for their guns.

You really have to live in a bubble to pretend this stuff is all one way.

A single person did that. It looks horrifying. We know nothing else about it. This is what qualifies as meaningful news to you. Your overlords on Twitter have already told you how to react.

There was a time when there were a handful of issues that divided the population. But they weren't enough to keep half the country in a constant state of anger. The ones who stayed angry all the time were a small minority who didn't have the social platforms to appear as if they were the majority like they do today. They certainly didn't have legislative power. Now your party has the AOC's and the Talib type activists in Congress. The green new deal, open borders, insane abortion beliefs, tranny ******** and much more that weren't part of the democrat platform. I wasn't a voter in the 90's but Bill Clinton was the last reasonable democrat there was and probably ever will be again.

No jackass. I didn't say it qualified as meaningful news. But I promise you this, if it were a Trump supporter doing it, you would consider it meaningful news. I just used it as a small example of how unhinged you lefties are.

Yeah, and only one candidate's campaign rally was calling the other candidate a fascist and his supporters, nazis. Get your head out of your ***. One side is tongue and cheeks. The other side actually wants their supporters to believe what they are saying.

You're clever about what to respond to on here many times, and in posts like the one @GhostOf301 made about Democrats, twisting the hell out of what he said. All in hopes of getting a back and forth debate over meaningless drivel.

You know what he meant. You're just either too proud, or stupid, to admit your party has become a party of delusion.

It would be a Sandmann- level story if a Rep had done it. But since it was a Dem quick and buried. Another example: what if it were right wing college students calling for “ intifada”, a liberal approved term which means nothing more or less than the extermination of Jews? There would be outrage.
As it is now, mostly crickets from the Left

Absolutely disgusting. The fact there are adults and TEACHERS supporting that crap is beyond disturbing.

Leave the F'n kids alone! As the man in the video said, there shouldn't be any sexualized books gay, straight whatever.
This is indoctrination plain and simple.
But it's not happening. It's just a republican boogeyman.

I am almost certain that Joe voted for Trump the other day.
He prob wrote in Hunter. That sorry pos is responsible for this sh show. After her disastrous showing in the 2019 primaries, her career should have been donzo. But Clueless Joe needed a Dei and brought her back from the dead with the help of Necromancer Pelosi

Heard Trump admitted on Rogan's podcast the mistakes he made in his first term, with some of the people around him. Swamp creatures. And if he wins, who he may be surrounding himself with has a lot of politicians worried.

If true, they should be worried. Blow this mother*&^%#@ up.

Am I missing something? The Supreme Court voted to allow Virginia to purge voter rolls to make sure non citizens couldn’t vote.
Should this even be debated?

From the same crowd who says "thoughts and prayers" after every school shooting and won't support any common sense gun laws.

The kid is 11 and he is at a middle school, which means he's in 6th grade, and that there are 14-year-old 8th graders at the same school. That's a wide range of development. Whether that kid reads that book or not is a decision to be made between him and his parents. It is not their decision what other kids read. And it's available in the school library. It's not required reading in their ELA class.

The availability of a book is not indoctrination.
