Anyone hearing anything on how winter workouts are going? Do the players like the new guy? Sure hope we see a physical difference on the field next year.

Young guys are saying that it's very challenging, which is exactly what we want.

I am waiting for the old guys to say that, this can be expected from new guys that have not experienced a college weight lifting program
you have to have the will to push your body past that point and quite frankly UK has not had a lot of them the last decade. best thing about this class is that they all get commended for their work ethic. im really glad that love is apparently beasting out in workouts and is a leader.

The new guys are saying they were surprised that 400 lbs. was just as heavy when converted to the metric system. Who knew?

As OP said, you have to be willing to go to the brink, and then be willing to go past that. Some guys work hard but aren't willing to put in the extra effort because they didn't have to in HS. That's why some "can't miss" kids never pan out. They choose not to work harder to stay ahead of the curve.
