So saw it...badass. probably would do you well to have a masters in norse history/mythology it's so detailed.

Saw itā¦turribleā¦bad acting and poor cinematography to go along with a disjointed story. Donāt waste your time.
Great movie. Just really good story and pacing is solid. It's bloody and violent so its definitely not gonna be liked if you are a super wimpy beta type.

Anyway, saw it last week and loved it, which I knew I would because I'm a mark for Eggers. The Witch is brilliant, The Lighthouse is very good, and Viking history has always interested me. I feel like anything Eggers does will always be considered box office poison but I'm at a point where I'd rather give films like this more of a chance than some massive studio film that's predetermined to be a huge money maker.
