Your problem wasn't the criticism of the goalie...you simply say there has to be a better goalie out there than the one we had and no one bats an eye. The issue (which you deserved to be called on) was the fact you made it racial when your main point was that the goalie was African American and that they are better suited to some sports over others. The critique of the athlete wasn't the issue. It was the racial stereotype you added to the post. There was no need for that.

I'm a lifelong gamer, but that is stupid. It's connected to the Olympics but doesn't take place during a real Olympics' year at least. So we won't be seeing track and field, swimming, gymnastics, and gaming together. Need to put it with breakin on ESPN 8 "The Ocho" and keep it away from real sports.

Lacrosse actually has the chance to be very interesting, because in the type of lacrosse being played at the '28 Olympics the fifth ranked team in the world is the Haudenosaunee, which is basically the Iroquois Nation. Lacrosse's international governing body recognizes them as their own team although I haven't seen anything on whether the IOC will do the same.
Lacrosse was the national sport of Canada for a long time until recently, and it’s still co national sport with hockey. It has its origins with native tribes, so I’m not shocked to hear your tidbit about the Iroquois. Had no idea, thanks for sharing that.

I’m super happy the US team can’t handle a simple baton swap which gifted Canada a gold medal in the 4x100. Maybe if the Americans spent more time prepping and less time showboating, they wouldn’t constantly drop batons or get DQ’d for bad exchanges. They are far and away the worst in the world at that.

Russia is almost entirely absent from these Olympic games despite having many record holders. Only 15 athletes defied the Russian Olympic Committee, paid their own way, and participate under the AIN banner. They aren't allowed at the Opening and Closing ceremonies or in the Olympic Village. AIN is not listed in medal totals, but they've only picked up 5. Russia was also banned from the 2021 Tokyo Olympics (drug suspension), but the ROC officially supported 330 athletes (71 total medals).

Breakdancing is really just a combination of the Pommel Horse in gymnastics, and various Synchronized swimming and figure skating events. I feel like if we're fine with those, this isn't a huge deal, even if it's odd to see in the Olympic Games.

IF all of the mentioned best athletes are clean of illegal enhancements and are of actual gender of the event they are competing. I will GUARANTEE you this, the 2028 games WILL test for unfair advantages. They will not ignore previous test nor use a 8 year old test as qualifications for said athlete to compete. Enough about it has already been debated everywhere so I will not get into that portion. I will just simply state there will NOT be athletes competing in events if they have an unfair advantage because of chromosomes or illegal use of physical enhancements.
