Too bad two of the best QBs in college football history were wasted cuz this team has no defense. Had this team had even an average defense OU would have won 2 nattys in a row. Just embarassing
This game is over. It's been over. OU couldn't even adjust to stop that SAME EFFING SLANT Bama has thrown the entire game!!!
Lincoln has been at OU long enough and has been in two playoff games so he should know by now that he HAS to get a defense if he wants to win a National Title. Hopefully he has seen what it takes.

There's so many problems to unpack that's wrong with this defense. The few times we do play aggressively in the secondary as far as press coverage, we don't press. It's mind boggling how many fundamental issues there are. Literally high school level stuff.
Recruiting is the difference. On defense it is not close. At all.
If people are tired of the "SEC talking heads" that people have been crying about on the board this last month, well don't blame them. OU had a shot tonight to knock off the top dog. Didn't deliver. So don't blame the talking heads.
Not the way I wanted it but they have shown some heart. Just shows (as we all suspected) we aren't quite there yet. Gotta have a defense. Corners that consistently cover would help. Disappointed but not down. Really love a national title but we need to climb one more step.
Only way to shut them up is to beat em. I blame the Brass at OU not the Talking Heads.

2nd straight? Huh?? And we watched different games if you really think OU put a physical beating on that Bama team tonight. Bama just went conservative in the 2nd half for the most part.
Clemson didn't win last year. But that will be a great game. Best 2 teams, should be fun.
