Wow. Really?? They get lumped in with the hair bands but they were really just a straight up blues rock band.I enjoyed that vid. Never even knew those guys existed.
Salute.
I don't get that deep in this music genre but alot of it I like to hear.Wow. Really?? They get lumped in with the hair bands but they were really just a straight up blues rock band.
I will do a search and listen some. You just just wisssst my head. I'll check it outIf you like that kinda vibe, you should check out The Struts. They embody 70's British Glam.
They were "found" by Bon Jovi in the mid-late 80's. The first album was even worse with the glam look. Lol.Pretty good song. If you mute the sound, they were obviously being marketed as a hair metal band with the hair, the pyrotechnics, the stage antics, etc. If you could just listen to the music, they sound a lot more like AC/DC than a hair metal band - no shredding, cleaner guitar tones, nice syncopated rhythm, etc. Seems like their agent/marketing team/record label may have missed the boat by trying to jump on the hair metal bandwagon when, based on this song at least, they clearly did not belong.
