Here we are, Week Two of Ordinary Time.
I realize I should have been been giving enrollment size and not predictions. Alas, maybe I should be giving odds on whether some teams actually show up.
Now, remember, your task is to pick all the games against the spread.

Just a question/observation: What was Provi doing with this schedule? Do they not know that their regular conference is the CCL Blue in which they havent finished in the top half the last few years? Gonna be a long uphill climb if they drop this one. BR in same boat with only 3 home games this year, I see games vs Montini,SR, Provi, MC as tossups but with the only probable wins being AC & St Joe, a playoffless season is very likely this year on 99th St.

BR will beat Crete....I think....hearing Beane may get the nod at QB because of running ability and with BR line they are going to focus on running and clock control but this is bar stool talk

Just curious as I am not a CCL expert. Provi went down and beat Mizzou last year (Mizzou won state) at their place. This year the game is at home and Mizzou lost its best WR to IMG. Do you feel Provi is worse than LY? Why is MIzzou getting so much love on this thread?

Pc should win by at least 2 scores. They have always scheduled a tough non conference schedule it has backfired on them the last 2 years. Last year's team should have been 6-3 they blew to late 4th are lead vs Fenwick and sr. This year's pc team has more talent then the 2014 team.

That's a pretty bold statement, that 2014 team was something special with Boykin and Co. I do agree they will be good and get the Dub this weekend. They had ESL on the ropes, and much like Connor McGregor, ran out of gas.

ACC @ SF [2017] St. Francis (Wheaton, IL) 28, [2017] Aurora Central Catholic (Aurora, IL) 24

This will not be a 4 point game. ACC has limited size, speed, athleticism and seniors on the roster. Combined with a new coach trying to figure things out, ACC is a hanging curve ball to be hit out of the park.

Yes, and they also have one of the top defensive tackles in the country. A 290 lb UCLA recruit. He'll probably be the best football player in Illinois this weekend.

Evangel Christian Academy has three committed to play at LSU.

Timber Creek, who is playing Belleville West, has a QB that is committed to NC State and made the elite 11 this summer.

I am sure he won't be the best player in Illinois this weekend.

I can't remember the last time the Ramblers started 0-2. They should be pretty close to full strength week 3.

I am hoping LA can keep it close. Amat has quite the itinerary set for this weekend and just played #1 in nation. LA kept it close vs Texas in IRE so who knows.

If LA gets their rb Bullie, wr Jones, lineman Gross back ( all three missed Phillips ) and can contain the Amat DT Maldonado with sophomore guard Gianaris - it will b fantastic game. Lot's of "ifs" but that's why they play the game
0-2 not the end of the world. MC started 0-2 in '91 before winning 12 straight.

Tough games - make better teams. Maybe next year they can schedule a couple of patsies and make everyone feel good about coming out of the gate 2-0. A top program stays that way by playing top teams and top competition. Good for them and good for the players in the program. LA will be fine.

In looking up the St. John Vianney Football program, I found that they're mascot is a "Griffin". I must admit, I got quite the chuckle since they have been avoiding the Griffins lately. I might have to go to this game for sh!ts and giggles.

His highlights are private but the DL from Evangel Christian is at minimum one star better than the kid you just posted. A lot quicker and faster than the kid you posted. I wish I can post his highlights.

All I see is California softies across from him. I'll take the Illinois kids. Those two B1G 10 kids on Marist's DL aren't playing patty cake.
I think we should all be rooting for our Illinois kids against any out of state team. As I've stated before, that's why I love this game, its not academic, it will all come out this weekend.
