Who really cares what Hollywood thinks? I'm slightly interested to see what some of the awards are... and that's it. Couldn't care about the entire spectacle or whatever grandstanding they attempt to pull. Don't care about the oscar-bait movies and all these "Let's feel bad for *insert minority group*!!".. if it's a good movie then it's a good movie.. if not, then I won't watch it.
They handed out $100,00-$200,000 gift bags. That statement alone tells you how out of touch Hollyweird is.
