The moment of silence was done once and it was before the 1:49 group of past winners. Tiger just happened to be in there.

Group of past winners makes it #notracist I guess since ol' Calvin was a past winner. Still though....

If Tiger dips any more on his swing, he's risking a penalty by touching the ball with the tip of his cap.

With his never ending swing changes/"improvements" (rolleyes), crazy to me that he continues to do this - and it keeps getting worse.

Bizarre

I dont think he practiced much for this one. And he's an idiot for not playing next week. How do you get any momentum? Basically shutting it down for a month until the Memorial.

I honestly don't think it matters how much he practices.

I tend to think he'd play better if he just showed up, and played balls out like he was playing a money match at home. 1 casual practice swing, step up, fire at the pin.

He's basically an over-thinking malfunctioning robot with his swing, no feel at all. It's painful to watch him think his way through every swing.

Vintage Tiger right there...had to birdie 9, and did with a clutch putt.

Yeah, it's almost sad to get excited about that, but it's something. He was pumped, you could tell that was important for HIM to do that...

He's played 2 tournaments. You are getting ahead of yourself, it takes time to learn a new swing from a coach who jumps off high dives

Who cares if it should be a major or whatever....I just want to know when will they ban the idiots that yell something out at the moment of impact. Someone yelled out HEPATITIS C YA LATER or some crap like that....Come on, sounds stupid. Instant ejection in my opinion.

Watched Snedeker on #2 Friday. To the right of the green with 2nd shot in the thick grass. Took 3 more to reach the green and he walked off with a 7. Fairways are immaculate. Love having the opportunity to go to The Players.

I completely agree. I don't think he needs to be Jordan Spieth and play every single tournament he can enter but if he has any vision of winning big again, he needs to be playing often. Kids are too good out there right now to roll in from his practice green and win.

It is sad to see him like this BUT... he's not completely decimated. I mean he's still playing when some big names went home, he had a nice Masters considering his break and where he was in February. He's apparently trying to get back to his old original swing. For as bad as he seems he's not THAT far off, well at least from being competitive. He's light years from 00-01 but that's kind of hard to expect at this point.

His mind is basically cannibalizing itself. Over thinking all this, scared of getting injured, protecting his knee back on every big swing. Tough place to be thinking the next swing could be the one that throws that back out again.

Regardless this young new American crop is fun to watch and damn good. Next Ryder Cup captain is going to have some decisions to make. 30 players w/in 5 strokes, going to a fun day.

Pretty stupid poll. Fowler has said that his record speaks for itself. 4 top 5's in the Majors last year. Bet he would love to be holding the trophy at the end of the day with a big "screw you" to those that voted.

There is no way Justin Thomas doesn't smoke cigs. Just has that look, not there is anything wrong with that look.

Is this the day that makes it a major??? So much talk for so many years, a young gun takes it in historical fashion. Today may just be the day the levee breaks. No joke. It's going to happen in time, may as well be this defining moment.

This has been a helluva Sunday at Sawgrass. My wife is even watching this with me and she's getting into it.
