While complaining about the AD, coaches and all player positions are all valid, one aspect of this season I cannot get over is the seemingly unshakable black cloud that is division. Most can watch a game and pick apart plays, coaching decisions, etc., however, what I saw this year was deeper than the casual observation and subsequent complaint.
I saw a team that was not a team. I saw players getting knocked down with no other team mates there to pick them up. I saw missed blocks; not the kind where you just get beat or over powered; but the kind where the "blocker" makes an attempt and looks around to see what is happening well before the whistle. I saw dropped passes and even no fire or aggression when "mistakes" were made.
Some things happened behind closed doors and were egregious enough to kill the early momentum we had as a young team. I don't think PT will be here next year and what is sad, is that he probably wants to be here the most as a loyal Kentuckian.
I'll end here. I have posted some very negative comments lately and I apologize for the very condescending nature of my writings. But watching this game today (from home as there was no way I was going in person), I felt like there won't be any positive outcomes unless some cancers are removed or leave.
