The refs need to explain the full nelson foul

The foul should of been called as soon as the ball came of the rim. When the shot was in the air the A&M runs up a lays on KTs back. Call it when it first happens and it never comes to that. I had never seen so many players just blatantly grabbing and throwing players out of the way for rebounds. Clean up the game and you won't have both teams in the 50s.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

I'm going to get you in a full-nelson then you are going to foul me huh??

Initial contact was A&M player pushing Towns off with a forearm to the back of his head. Then he started the wrestling. This just prior to where video begins.

If you look the video the first foul is when TAM player get his arm underneath towns, which isn't a big deal, but then he lifts his arm up even so he was underneath, and which point he lifts Towns. (If he was unlocking he should have lowered his arm). Go opposite of towns, on the other hand towns lifted his hand up because he was above him.

Towns is like wtf, and then leans forward and clutches him at the same time and lifts him. Then drops his ***.

That was terrible call.

I still don't understand why they didn't review the punch in the face that booker received. That was EFFED up. That was beyond bad. It was pretty obvious...
That one and Towns 5th foul were just horrendous. How in the world those are called is beyond me. Really makes you wonder about the objectivity of these refs.
I was thinking the same thing.

Maybe in wrestling matches it is the best two out of three so they don't call it until the 2nd one on the same party?

I have no idea why it was a double foul, obviously.

That shows just how bad a call that one was. Towns was lifted off the ground. That is ridiculous.

I was more irritated by the non-flagrant when the A&M player hammer-fisted Booker in the eye on the fast break layup. His hand was a half a foot away from the ball, and he literally punched Booker right in the face. Hard. So I'm not surprised that if the wind blew an A&M player a certain way, KAT was called with a foul. You'd find better officiating in a church league.

It was a half nelson. Get your wrestling terms right.

both arms were hooked. that's a full nelson.
Seattle is right. And there is no way Towns did anything to warrent a foul . period. Seth i think has what happened down. I would really like to know why in the SEC the refs do everything in thier power to hurt their money maker but in the ACC DUke and to some degree UNC iare protected like there is no tomorrow . All you have to do is watch the first Duke vs Cuse game from last season to see what i am talking about . DUke esentially calls their own fouls and the refs just go along . I am not saying i want refs to protect us but at least don't call crap to hurt us intentionally which happens 100% . I will say i don't think Anthony Jordan did that on Tuesday though , i just think he is the worst ref in the history of basketball refs . But guys like Shows ,Ayers and that moron today are completely out to screw UK .

Kat was trying to ward off penetration. Apparently it's a PF if your humped by opposing player.

A totally ridiculous call....if the official had been paying attention, Roberson would have been whistled immediately for his foul. I agree there was some serious pushing and holding on rebounding action by A&M.

"Brian Shey is the new Karl Hess".

FTW.

There were about 5 calls that game that were just impossible to comprehend. Two out of bounds plays that were mind-boggling.
