Obviously Kentucky did not play their best basketball last night, while Louisville played out of their minds hitting 13 threes and only turning the ball over 6 times (they had 27 through the first two games). Yet Kentucky came back from an 18 and a 20 point deficit twice to be in the game. Who knows what happens if Lowe makes those two free throws and the pressure really turns on UL.

It is a long season and we have a lot of talent. I know I am wasting my breath but everyone needs to relax. It was a tough loss, no doubt. Keep your head up and lets beat Michigan State Tuesday and get back on track.

The concern is that our defensive philosophy last year was suspect and we had the same problems defensively last night with better players and athletes. These guys are too athletic and skilled to be that bad on defense and our issues with the defense last season has already come to the front game 3.
