The 13-17 “bubble” teams should be in. State should host. The only question I’m not sure about is Georgia being a top-8 seed. I’d be fine with them being in the 9-16 range.

For anyone who thinks the NCAA might “work the seedlings” to get regionals to high attendance schools, this should end those thoughts. The NCAA really just doesn’t care about college baseball. Even worse, they actually seem to actively sabotage it.

Mike Alford was on the baseball team at MSU for a couple of years in the late 80's before he transferred to UAB. He got his masters from UPIG. He speaks positively about his time in Starkville. I don't think his presence hurts us.

Dang. Didn’t notice that. Yeah. They’re locks to host. That’s a very strongly skewed committee. 2 from state of Florida, 2 from North Carolina, 2 from Indiana (WTF) and 2 from military academies (they play baseball?).

Yeah. But the other committee members have to tell him to his face what they’re doing with his team & they’ve all been working with him for weeks (years really). It probably didn’t hurt that Cohen was on the committee when Auburn got the last regional host with the lowest RPI.
