The SEC should win nearly every committee debate.

The 13-17 “bubble” teams should be in. State should host. The only question I’m not sure about is Georgia being a top-8 seed. I’d be fine with them being in the 9-16 range.

We went to bat for Ole Miss in 2022. SEC reps need to go to bat for us this year.

I’m not sure the SEC has anyone on the committee this year. Ridiculous. But that’s what I’ve heard.

Tragic.

Utah? They even know baseball in Mormonville?
The TBD are probably guys named Jonathan from universities with teams having a combined record of 33-79

It’s Scott Stricklin and a Big 12 guy. So definitely better. Still a pretty awful group to decide who plays in and hosts regionals though.

Mike Alford was on the baseball team at MSU for a couple of years in the late 80's before he transferred to UAB. He got his masters from UPIG. He speaks positively about his time in Starkville. I don't think his presence hurts us.

Its still no wonder the NCAA is still having its azz dragged through the court system.

Ahh sh*t, so the ADs at Indiana State & ECU are on the committee? Two of the schools we're fighting a host spot for? Welp, seems like we've locked up a 2 seed.
Dang. Didn’t notice that. Yeah. They’re locks to host. That’s a very strongly skewed committee. 2 from state of Florida, 2 from North Carolina, 2 from Indiana (WTF) and 2 from military academies (they play baseball?).

The Indiana State guy is not on the committee anymore. He’s not at Indiana State at all. He resigned in January. That list above is dated. See the link I included above for the updated list.

ECU guy is on it. Agreed that poses a problem for us.

The members have to recuse themselves when their school is discussed.

It can actually have the opposite effect: They could overcompensate by trying to show how unbiased they are when discussing schools their school is being compared to.

Yeah. But the other committee members have to tell him to his face what they’re doing with his team & they’ve all been working with him for weeks (years really). It probably didn’t hurt that Cohen was on the committee when Auburn got the last regional host with the lowest RPI.

Indiana State is 10th in the RPI, 42 wins, 22-5 in their league. They are absolute locks to host, no matter who is on the committee. And they should be.

Lost 2 of 3 to Southern Miss and won 2 of 3 vs Xavier. Also lost 21-11 to Illinois and 16-7 to Indiana. Yeah, they should host. **
Deserve it more than Arizona does….that’s for damn sure.
What are their 5 most impressive wins?
What are UCSB’s 5 most impressive wins? The two resumes are basically identical, except Indiana State’s SOS is 25 spots higher.
