I Have always been hyped for the start of UK Football. This year, I just feel a lot better than the last few. reasons, The coaching staff is top notch, the offense will put more points on the board, & the defense will be better. I focus on the defense,A. Bell DE, Cross, DL, T Dubose DT,. M Elam, D Ware DE, will all become better. we have a good core of LB's, Corners, & safety"s. So, this year we win 7 games & go bowling. Just feel it. go Big Blue.

Too many uncertainties for me to get hyped. If everything works out and Barker plays consistent enough, the new staff gels, and the D-line is serviceable it's possible to win 6 games. 7 would be amazing because that means UK beats all 3 should be teams, beats 3 SEC opponents in SC, Mizz, and Vandy and one unexpected win.
I just think as the season goes on, Barker is going to play inconsistent as you would expect from a first year starter and have a clunker or two. The D-Line will be exposed and the run defense is just going to give up too much in the redzone. I have said all along, I'm expecting 4 wins and realistically thinking 5 wins. I've been in the 6-6 camp last year and thought UK would go to a bowl the year before that after the hot start but I just can't be persuaded into that with so question marks going into the season.

Six of the last seven national champs have had first year starters at QB. That said, some games will be better than others but he has a lot of help.
I'm just excited to see what we have in a real game. Gran seems like a real step up, and I hope it translates to the field. QB makes all the difference in college, and I wanna see if we really have one. If we can complete throws and run effectively, we can rest our defense for once.
What I really really don't want to see is incompetence. I cringed at our special teams last year. It looked amateurish. Dawson's play calling was SNES Madden bad, towles was all over the place, and wtf is up with WRs who can't catch? Win or lose, I want us to be coherent. If we don't make those stupid mistakes, we go bowling last year.
I hope we do this year. I feel it'll be somewhere between 5-7 wins. We're due for a few balls to bounce our way too...

Getting rid of Dawson should be good enough for an extra few wins or so in of itself.
