It's a huge waste of opportunity to create excitement around the program. A waste of a possibly great recruiting weekend. Add tailgating maybe some live music and it could be a 20,000 + party atmosphere that would grow in popularity. The " get off my lawn gang" might not be in but IMO it's foolish not to take advantage of what it could and already should be.

We're doing it the way it's been done for years in large part due to depth this & other years. Also Dabo has a NC, but had Dabo's boys gotten a blown out knee on a PR, KO, or KR to a starting impact player and he would be feeling some heat about his 2 hr recruiting commercial.

Spring games are glorified powder puff practices with no creativity and base offense and defenses. That's why attendance is $5. Well that and the weather is just horrible because we have them too early. I've been to a Gold Level Booster invite spring practice in the past and other practices and they're a lot more football. A lot more hitting.
