My phone was silent last night after blowing up last Sunday when they advanced to the Final Four and then on Saturday after pounding the Cuse. My buddy who's in grad school at Chapel Hill posted a FB message last night about how the Heels were cheated by the refs. I just 'liked' it. Tis' a good day.
I'm taping on homemade Villanova cardboard license plates on their vehicles b4 lunch.
After my students who are UNC fans gave me a hard time the last 2 weeks... I told them that I'm here for them this morning... LOL!!!

FB friends who are Tar Heel fans have had these admittedly funny lines since last night:
"Coach K would have been all "Kris Jenkins, you're better than that."
"The NCAA can finally retire the Laettner shot."

To be honest doesn't it look like time expired way before Jenkins got that shot off.

Hahaha....it's funny you post that because about 30 minutes ago I got a text saying the same thing from a buddy.
About the clock. Does the clock automatically stop in the last minute of the game as soon as the ball clears the net? Watching the replay, I swore they should have put the clock back to a full 5 seconds after Paige's shot. It seems that the refs review the shot clock non-stop these days, but not last night.
You're right, if UNC fans want to be picky about the time on the clock, there would have been more time.
A young man I know who attends Duke has been posting things on Facebook teasing UNC since last night, tumbleweeds in a ghost town labeled "Franklin St" and things like that.
His dad just posted a pic of him and the entire family from when the son was in middle school I guess. They're all decked out in UNC gear and they're inside the Dean Dome. The caption says: "Don't forget where you came from." lol
That's a point for dad, so now UNC only lost by 2.
It's a good reminder of how close we are despite such intense sports "hate."
