I've been observing the "Free Board" as some elitists would like to call it (not me), for numerous years (it's the Husker Board, FYI). Well beyond the current, previous and previous to the previous coaching staff hires, to put it in perspective.

The one thing I can no longer tolerate is the discontent. We have hired the premier young Head Coach in all of college football, and it's like some of you are looking for any rotten spoiled banana on the ground to pick up and cry about. "The D coordinator is suspect"; "Coaching the bowl game hurts our recruiting"; "JUCOs can't be a mainstay going forward".

No offense (aka Pelini, Riley, and Callahan when it counted), but enough is enough. If this isn't the right "fit" for you, then your "fit" will never arrive. As a Board, as the "free" Husker Board, this environment can and needs to change.

Message boards were invented to facilitate complaining and discontent.... looking forward to what the future holds.

You may make fun of our lives, but you will never take our FREE-board!

I used to pay when I thought I could get some juicy inside info. Then twitter came along and I started sleeping with high powered women. You know the type: jazzercise, board meetings and happy hour during the day. Chainmail, big hair and a 1970 Ford Falcon 429 Super Cobra Jet at night. That ten clams a month was better spent on hair slick and Lelo Hex latex condoms...

I liked your post because you post way less than me and I don't post too often. Shows moxie. Welcome friend, don't be a stranger. Have no fear, when The Prince that was Promised Scott Frost runs out of the tunnel on my birthday, September 1st, the fan base will lose its collective ****. Together. As one! #GBRad

Some new guys here and some old guys missing. What happened to taco salmonella? One of the most prolific posters? Did he only like it when we sucked? Thought he was a fan. I don’t get it.
He got in to it with some knucklehead who questioned his knowledge and he's taken a break it appears. The guy is very knowledgeable IMO and it's a shame somebody pissed him off. Rarely posts now. Hope he makes a re-appearance by spring ball. Dude knows his stuff.

Shoot, the board was mostly positive about all the coaches that have come along at first. Frost has been even more warmly received since he's a Husker product coming in with an undefeated season. There have been a few doubts - more worries or questions than criticisms. Anyway, message boards are message boards, people say what pops into their heads.

No they can't. This guy won't tolerate it anymore. He means business, for reals.

There are a couple of guys left who have consistently brought accurate information for many years who have very good football knowledge to this board . Tuco is one and like him or not CoachDubs is another. Some of the best posters we've had on here over the years have gotten driven off by wannabees arguing just to argue about things they really aren't qualified to argue about. Tuco has connections to SEC college coaches and other places. He knows football. And BTW, my join date isn't what it seems to be. Some of us assumed new identities and became more careful about disclosing personal information to dodge the Pelini internet police. It's pretty amazing when friends get phone calls from a guy like Jamrog trying to find you. It's one of the reasons for one of the board rules.
