The Three Captains

[zebnatto]

The problems and concerns we’ve been posting about aren’t functions of Reiber or Wolf or Simpson, etc. It falls on our Captains who aren’t playing well. Or smartly.

The three captains yesterday had 40 points, 17 rebounds, 5 assists, 6 steals, and 4 blocks on 15/35 shooting.
The other seven had 20 points, 14 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocks on 9/34 shooting.
But yeah it’s on the captains lmao.

Smartly is the key here

Awareness, composure, maturity

They all played decently yesterday. They need more help from the others.

Cliff needs to stay out of foul trouble period. Unless Dean or Wolf turns it around, they are huge liabilities on the court right now and we have no other options

Sixty points isn't enough to win most B1G Ten games. It was a team collapse in scoring for ten minutes in the second half that led to the 69-60 defeat.

The entire team contributed to a 9 minute scoring drought. That just can’t happen in any game. Sort of incredible we scored 60 when you consider that we took 25% of the game off.
