We start to understand and believe TODAY.
It was no fluke beating Purdue, and St John's. We have manhandled every lower lvl we just have to believe we can do it consistently against good competition.

I wasn't going to watch, but I am just a cats fan praying these guys want it as much as I do.

If I had a message to the players, you only get a few small years to play for a school with the tradition that Kentucky has, you want to be able to go back and give your kids something to be in awe of.

What’s with the female stuff? As long as I’ve been posting here people keep coming back to this topic. I’ll admit it’s nosy and if it’s too personal you don’t have to respond, but what is the controversy here? It’s always been far above my comprehension

There are people here who do not like women discussing sports, and they didn't like my profile pic. I've never been girly-girly. The person(s) stalking me got banned and now they're hiding behind Anon[random characters] usernames.

If we can’t win tonight’s game then wins in the SEC are going to be few and far between, and they may be anyway. I have already written this season off and it was apparent after MSU we were not a tournament team and I had made comments to friends as such. They balked then but came around after Gonzaga. We simply don’t have good enough shooters to win in today’s game. And pope is not a good enough coach to figure out how to get this team playing winning basketball.

Dude...it was an EXHIBITION that didnt mean squat...If UK plays Purdue tomorrow who wins????? Not UK...we couldn't bear Purdue once in a best of five series...not once. It doesnt make a flipping difference if we win tonight...against Mississippi State lol. The "tradition" isnt the selling point anymore....Saint Johns ia a terrible team!!1 What are we doing???? Lol...man reality is lost on half this fanbase

Optimism is one thing....delusional is something else entirely. You must have watched the JV games and not the 7 (includes Georgetown) we lost.

Miss St is 67th KP and 83 in NET. This is a Q3 game. The spread is 11.5.

A win today is a bare minimum requirement of keeping the Kentucky job for any coach. A win tonight won't be what the OP thinks it is.

Only way this turns around, is if we all the sudden become a "very good" 3 point shooting team. That's what we're missing.

Does anyone think that can happen? I certainly don't.

Against Missouri, we tried to score in the paint every trip down the floor and it was a struggle. Again, that was just Missouri. We're not beating anyone in the top, or middle of the league with that approach.

Need to hit 8+ threes a game with a decent percentage to turn this around.

Watching the UT vs Florida game today, we have no shot against either of them the way we are playing right now offensively.

We still *CAN* become a pretty good three point shooting team, based on catch and shoot and spot up numbers from the last year of some of these players. However, it’s beginning to look more unlikely by the day.

Everyone is struggling. Oweh is starting to figure it out, but it's amazing how off everyone else is.

Maybe they are feeling the pressure and aren't just doing what they are capable of. Who knows. Maybe they snap out of it, maybe they don't. Words of wisdom, I know. I got nothing.

We play both Tenn and Fla twice, along with Vandy.
