Has anyone else noticed that every article is gloom and doom on their website? I go to see what the temp and forecast is to know how to dress that day and have to go take a Xanax when I close the app. I mean everything is about disasters, tragedies and apocalyptic stories.

CB you killed it ! Every damn story is how global warming is going to kill us all and what a terrible person I am because I use plastic 🍺

They had an article a couple of weeks ago and the headline was talking about the dangers of rising waters of cities near oceans. When I clicked on it it was an animated slideshow of cities around the world flooding. 😂

And if I see one more report about the damn polar ice caps are melting and how the world will be under water by ten feet I’m just going to quit. I wish it was the old weather channel where cantore is on a beach getting blasted by debris during a hurricane or have Jen Carfagno do a wet t-shirt forecast 🍺

Better, albeit HUGE, pic of her face...

Bonus points that she's also a big UFO enthusiast -- so you know she's into some freaky stuff.

Didn't know they had stories on WC app. Just go to the location I'm interested in to find temp, precip & radar. Done.

Scaring people about the weather is a billion dollar business. Algore became a billionaire over global warming before it was climate change.

Where I live we have been told for the last 30 years that the melting polar ice cap is causing hurricanes so strong we will all be swept away to sea. Before the hurricane season starts each year we get a list of the major hurricanes that will drown us all. People buy hurricane tracking charts and weather radios to see where the storm may come from and may go.

And they wait and wait. Meanwhile in 30 years living on the coast I have not lost one shingle off of my roof. I have had to clean up my yard from downed palm trees and limbs but that is about it. But that could happen in 60- mph wind

Can’t believe no one has posted pics of the weather girls at wsmv out of Nashville, channel 4. Only reason I give a crap about the forecast. Let it rain.

That's called luck, but I'm sure you know that. In the last 30 years, there have been 83 US landfalls from hurricanes, with 19 of those in Florida. Two years ago, we had a monster cat 5 in Dorian at our doorstep. If the high pressure ridge to the north hadn't weakened and taken the steering currents away, we would have gotten a direct hit here, and downed palm trees would have been the least of our problems. The damage would have been catastrophic for south and central Florida and we would still be recovering from it.

My tv automatically goes to channel 4. I’ve seen no reason to flip. It’s all I can handle at my age.
