Another big victory last night for the women's team. Pulliam was on fire with 32 points on 19 shots.

The 'Cats are now 8-2 in the B1G and 18-3 overall with all losses coming against teams currently ranked in the top 25. Until the B1G Tournament, all remaining games are against unranked opponents--unless Rutgers (currently 16-4, 6-3 conf) manages to sneak into the top 25 by February 16. The 'Cats are currently in second place in the B1G, and have a very good chance at a B1G title!

Go 'Cats!

Side note: Abi Scheid might be #1 in the country in 3-pt % at .490 after going 3-3 last night. The link on the ESPN stats page doesn't reflect last night's game and still has her at #3.

As a team, NU is shooting .348 beyond the arc, while holding opponents to .296!

Can she play on men's team? We need to his some 3 pt shots.

Maybe Joe McKeown and staff should work with our players on their shooting... In the post-game press conference after the PSU game, Scheid mentioned that she took fewer than 10 shots beyond the arc in her entire high school/AAU career. She is currently the #1 career leader at NU for 3-point percentage.
