Maybe our freshman QB gets some PT and plays well.

If he does, hopefully the coaching staff makes the right decision and lets him start the rest of the season. There's just no reason to start Armstrong anymore. We don't need him to beat the Marylands and Iowa's of college football and it's time to start looking to the future.

Just to be clear, I wrote this prior to the injury and the intent of my post was that the backup would play due to lopsided score. I wish nothing but the best health for Tommy.

Maybe you should think before you post next time.Yeah, want the best for Tommy, blah, blah, blah. Real easy to say now, isn't it. Trash him and then make people think you really care now.

Does POB even make the road trips?

We're paying the price for the previous staff's QB recruiting philosophies. Our QB depth chart has been a ticking time-bomb for 7 of the last 8 years. The only year it wasn't was the year TM was a Sr. and TA was a RS Frosh.

Perhaps next year we'll see some stability at the position, with Lee and POB as the 1 & 2, and another scholarship QB (Gebbia) either redshirting or being the #3.

With all due respect to you, it would be incredibly disrespectful to the team and seniors to scrap the season to "build for next year" by putting in a frosh.

The games against Minny, Maryland and Iowa certainly mean something and the team has a shot at a 10 win season and a nice bowl game.
