Would love to see Nebraska on the other side against KY. Thought I would never see it happen.

It would be awesome to play a program like Nebraska with their history and tradition. I've always had a lot of respect for them even though they aren't near as good as they were in the 90s.

MCB has been good to us. It would be nice to say we saw Ky beat Clemson, FSU and now, hopefully, Nebraska. That's good stuff if you're a Football fan.

Matt on the post game show said he heard it may be Iowa.

But Nebraska would be awesome too.

Interesting matchup either way , I really like the idea of playing someone different . I would rather play Nebraska or Iowa over a Florida state for example

I would prefer Nebraska. Bigger name opponent but easier opponent IMO.
Like when we played Florida St? I like the idea just because of the big name they have in football. Plus I was stationed in Omaha for 3 1/2 years and had to put up with them.

That would be a fun game to watch. Love playing traditional powers in bowl games.

Music City sounds good...not too stoked about playing Nebraska, though. I remember the 90s when they were great, running the triple option under Tom Osborne, but this year's Nebraska team was embarrassed by Ohio State and again by Iowa. This season is a disappointment for Husker fans, and the prospect of coming to Nashville to face the UK football Wildcats probably doesn't get that fan base too excited. It's pretty much the equivalent of us going to Kansas City to take on Nebraska in the NIT. Just looking at it objectively.

I'd rather face an opponent that is going to be stoked to be in the bowl game they're in, and fired up to take on the opponent they're facing. The conference tie-ins, the location and the border rivalry that already exists (albeit on hiatus) begs for this match-up to bethe Cats and Hoosiers in Nashville on December 30th.

I'd much rather face a team with a name and history. If we play iu, if we win what have we accomplished? If we lose, we've lost to a school with even less Football identity than us.

9-3 is a disappointment to their fans?!? they went 5-7 last yr and have a 2nd yr coach. my guess is Neb would come large to MCB.

That Oklahoma game was a big one too.
I don't remember what year it was, but UK played Oklahoma back in the 70's in Norman. I believe it was back when OK had guys like Billy Sims and Marcus Dupree. My parents went to that game back then. I remember the program they brought back.

I live in Indianapolis and the local media thinks that Indiana is going to play in the Music City Bowl.

9-3 for a team with their history is much different than 9-3 for a team with our history. Ohio State blew them out 62-3 and they just lost by 30 to Iowa. They expect to be in the mix for conference championships and have a chance at the playoff. To put it into perspective, a lot of basketball teams would be elated with 23 regular season wins and a 5 seed in the NCAA tournament..but obviously we wouldn't, even if it was a big improvement from the year before, we'd be happy that we're improving, but that's not where we want to be.

The game was 1982 in Norman and was the second of a home and home series won by OU. We were there.
