WW1 documentary by Peter Jackson.
My son and I went to see this last night. I believe they limited the showings to yesterday 12/17 and 12/27.
Powerful moving stuff. Makes you choke up finally seeing faces of men in these old films who might otherwise have been forgotten. I can't imagine the families reactions in seeing them after all these years. Absolutely incredible what Jackson and his team was able to do with regard to digitally restoring and enhancing vintage 100+ year old film. Kind of a technical marvel really. You have to see this in the theatre in 3D to fully appreciate the images.
Stay after the credits for a presentation from Jackson explaining all the technical aspects of what it took to make this four year labor of love.
