UK has tried to run the "Pro-Style" offense. In the SEC it requires great line depth. I think best case scenario it might get us to 7 wins vs the OOC opponents and lower half of the SEC East. IMO...To truly compete for a SEC title UK has to find a way to be different and outscore opponents. I don't dislike the hires, I just don't know if the philosophy can get UK anywhere close to the top of the SEC.

I disagree, Michigan, Alabama, Miami, Southern Cal, have all traditionally used some version of pro style offense with great success (with their really good teams), as did UK as recently as Woodson-Tamme-Burton, et al. I think it is a great offense, if you have the talent. Kentucky seems to be able to attract decent passers and good receivers, so I think it makes a lot of sense.

Why would we not win the same 5 we won last season (3 easiest OOC's + USC + Mizzou) and then find one or another W next season? State without Diaz & Dak, Vandy still Vandy, Florida kind of crashed & burned to end their season, UL isnt any team to believe in.

All valid points and may well be true.
