I can't find a picture but when I was about 10 (30+ years ago) I got that game "MouseTrap" which the main thing was to capture the mouse with this Rube Goldberg contraption and I've watched other children over the next 20+ years get this game as a gift and that game NEVER worked like it was supposed to, ever.

Bought one of these to clean up dog hair on our first floor which has all wood floors. Worked great for 3 weeks. Ran while we were gone, cleaned up all the floors and even went under the kitchen table and everything. I was really patting myself on the back for this one. Came home one day and the dog had pooped in the floor, a nice runny poop. The roomba of course ran right through it and smeared it all over the floor all over the first floor. Took me about 3 hours to mop that up. Never got around to cleaning up the roomba, will probably just throw it away.

We had a nice KONG dog leash with handle loop that you could clip around stuff and a rubbery sleeve handle that could slide up and down and bend with one hand to not give slack to the dog. The rubbery part started to crack after a couple years and my wife hated it. His collar matched it as well.

I gave very specific instructions to replace it in kind or with an approved equal. PetSmart didn't have it anymore, so she came home with some Target brand leash (to match a cute new collar) that was just fabric with a solid loop

Then she immediately realized that it sucked after one two minute walk.

Now we use still use the old leash, but she threw the rubber part away. It's pretty cool that it only took wasted $8 purchase to reason through that one!

Flex-seal, sham-wow, frying pan that you're supposed to be able to cook an egg with no oil, basically everything in the "As seen on TV!" aisle.

I haven't laughed that hard in a while.
