I think he stays put. There are reasons (and I'm not going to speculate or pretend to know them) why he was unemployed for as long as he was while there were more than a few WAY better than Washington St jobs that came open during that time without him even getting a sniff. For him, he's probably the perfect spot in Pullman. I think Leach is a good coach, but I've always likened him to that crazy uncle or cousin that most of us have or have had in the past in that you love them, and like seeing them from time to time, but you're never going to invite them over for a big gathering or take them out on the town, because you just never know what they might do or say.
I doubt he winds up there, but he's giving Wazzou exactly what oregon fan craves and it's fanning the flames under Helf red-hot. But if he wants to leave for greener pastures he's done more than enough at WSU to make that happen.
He did get a sniff. He was interviewed twice by Maryland at least. And I bet now they're damn sorry they didn't hire him.

the tie in w Maryland was the under armour founder alum. UA had a deal with Tech when Leach was there. Maryland screwed the pooch on that one.

Leach is an offensive mastermind in an offensive era and in a conference that is not extremely deep or consistent on D.
His stock may rise over the next few years as the game continues to evolve to his side of the ball.
Wouldn't surprise me if his name started to be whispered with some gigs you wouldn't expect.

When I can I either watch or DVR their games... Love to watch their offense because he still has the electric offensive scheme, but now has added a very solid running game as well
I watch most of them, I think it helps their running game in that on fourth and one he is probably more likely to pass the ball than run it.. Falk started the last game with 22 straight completions, tough guy and very good IMO.
I love it when a school like Oregon recognizes the importance of Football enough to do whatever is necessary, within the rules, to have a winner. IMO, there's no excuse for us not being willing to make the same level investment in the premier college sport.
Leach would make Johnson a star with all of our receivers here, if he could get them to catch the ball like Washington State's receivers do. He is doing these things with 2 and 3 star players. From what I've seen from them their defense has improved.
hey, 3rd in conf in rush defense and 6th in total D. one of his most balanced teams.
