WASHINGTON — Thirty-five foreign nationals were arrested in West Virginia over a 10-day period, according to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
The law enforcement agency arresting 186 people across five states, which also included Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey and Maryland. The effort targetted criminal aliens, immigration fugitives, re-entrants and other violators.
U.S. attorneys accepted charges for three cases, including re-entry and removal and document fraud.
The sweep concluded Wednesday.
