Would it be 5G per household or 5G per tax payers? My wife and I file separate. That's a nice little chunk of change. I will most likely buy gold but think it should be used to pay off debt .

They’ve not said, but if taxes filed separately, I would guess each of you would $5k.
As a middle class family i could use it . I'm not in debt so I would invest it in gold or my house.
I believe our national debt and our lack of responsibility is our biggest threat. So use it to pay down the debt but I don't believe they would.
Ok .... a couple rub and tugs and some tequila, maybe a fat girl or two but that's it
